I support the freedom of people chosing their sex or gender. At the same time, I'm not willing to fight their wars. And if they force me to go to war, then I pass.

Now, if you want me to explain what political ideas those were: I don't care. Whatever they are, I don't want to support it, even if I have those same ideas. Yes, I do think that open source communities should move away from the politics.
But then marcan told his supportes to fuck off unless they commit to supporting his political ideas, which I was not willing to do.
I guess this comment will be seen as abuse from the HN crowd. Oh well...
Very soon I found out that: Vim mode must be perfect and few of my <leader> key combos have made me (Neo)vim addict. And also, I prefer terminal editor.
According to this archived article[1], there is a quote saying: "It [BB] sports a feature-set much like Github." That is an indication of which one came first and was already a success story on the market and served as a blueprint for BB, which was made in its image with the difference of supporting mercurial, instead of git.

So naturally, I got a few questions on topics such as non working mice or keyboards, headphones and similar.
My usual reply lately (not that many, I can still bother to reply) is "This is not the Logitech you are looking for..." with the link to the company they want.
Good luck to the team, not for me.
But the point still stands: the whole process was a nightmare, no automation, error prone, renewal easily forgetable...
The large companies could have had a staff to manage all that. I was just a solo developer managing my own projects, and it was a hassle.
Does anyone remember how we renewed certificates before LE? Yeah, private keys were being sent via email as zip attachments. That was a security charade. And as far as I know, it was a norm among CAs (I remember working with several).
Thank you Let's Encrypt.
Very useful.

Just recently bought 27" Dell and I'm quite happy with it (for coding).
In its core, competitive sport is defined by the ability to differentiate the best from the next to best. It's obvious that as a species we value those who can perform with the highest marks, it's neither stupid nor anti-sports.
