saiko-chriskun··on Show HN: File.io – Ephemeral file sharing
you're free to buy the domains yourself? he bought it from the previous owner and has every right to use it as he sees fit, and in this case actually launched a useful service in place of just sitting on it.
saiko-chriskun··on Angular vs. React – the tie breaker
Angular has been one of the easiest to pick up javascript frameworks I've worked with.

saiko-chriskun··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (March 2015)
Full-Stack Rails Engineer - Full-time in Los Angeles or REMOTE freelance opportunities available

We run www.hostwise.com and are looking for our third full-stack engineer. We're doing really well, growing rapidly, and are your definition of a lean startup- you'll have tons of opportunity to have a direct impact on our product and team.

We're looking for someone who's experienced on both sides of the stack and who is comfortable with taking complete ownership over projects. Some upcoming ones include our html5-based mobile app and building out our test suites.

Our stack: Rails, Angular, Postgres, Coffeescript, Appgyver

If this sounds interesting at all, send me an email at bolton@hostwise.com.

saiko-chriskun··on Bitcoin guide
Kind of confused as to what exactly happens and how to deal with a user sending bitcon to an expired receiver.

All the docs seem to say is "we will do our best to convert them to the requested amount of USD, but the effects are not predictable."

Obviously the amount of USD converted won't be predictable, but it's a situation that needs to be handled.

saiko-chriskun··on Deis v1.0 – Production Ready
The use-case is a heroku-style system that you control.
saiko-chriskun··on Show HN: Polarr.co, a WebGL photo editor
Yeah the home page is a disaster, super laggy and the photos are even revolving over most of the 'read more' text so I can't even read about the features. Please think about redesigning it.

saiko-chriskun··on Teen Survives Flight To Hawaii In Jet's Wheel Well, FBI Says
It is somewhat of a miracle. Flying stowed away on a plane is extremely dangerous and most will die, or at least come out with very serious issues.
saiko-chriskun··on Dear Uber: you’re great but please add this feature
You can already do this. If you use the estimate fare functionality, I've had drivers already know where I'm going. It doesn't seem like everyone is accustomed to this, though, since I've mentioned it and some drivers have no idea what I'm talking about.
