They are at public beta now; fundamental things like API interfaces should have been fully baked months ago.

I'm pretty shocked that Microsoft hasn't been better at maintaining appearances for the EU. If I was on that team (easy to say, I know), I'd make darn sure that third party browser developers were kept in the loop. Publish the info on MSDN. Shower them with emails asking them if they need help. It's good for the OS, the public, and it would be a good proactive measure toward maintaining regulatory compliance.

I'm willing to bet that the huge quantity of *.blogspot.com links ran afoul of an anti-spam machine learning system. Time to add an entry to the whitelist, guys...

Lots of tech journalism is like Fox News in its intellectual dishonesty. I know I've been on a jag these past several posts about it, but all the covert agendas and hyper-polarized opinions (page views!) is really doing major damage to the quality of the discourse in practically all online tech communities.

Why do so many people need to have such STRONG OPINIONS about everything that isn't what they happen to own?

Could this be made to also eliminate articles regarding certain topics or from certain sources? I really hate the proliferation of gadgety religious flamewars, and the enabling of bloggers whose modus operandi is just to stoke the fires of these ridiculous squabbles.

Oh man, MyTouch was garbage. Complete crap. I test drove a Flex and was just amazed at how awful it was. No touch feedback, sluggish response, dynamic knobs and buttons meant you couldn't operate it blindly, and a milky backlit LCD screen that still messed with your night vision even when it was supposed to be displaying black. (OLED would do better here.)

I was stunned. I'm a geek and I think it's crap. I can't imagine technoluddites being any more charitable.

I have friends going through that, it sucks.
