Wow this is sick:

That is what equations tell you: http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics/Relativity/SR/rocket.h... ( scroll to How much fuel is needed? )
Even if you protect yourself from relativistic atoms, they still create a drag. And that happens before you reach 0.99c.
As for the rest, that is up to the developer with more resources than his opponents.
If that isn't acceptable for your project, don't use it. Successful languages that don't have compile time checks, show that this problem is irrelevant.
The game has to be only hard and expensive enough to hack so that the effort isn't worth the result.
Of course with unlimited resources you can pretty much solve anything, if you assume those, then everything is easy to solve. But assuming that is simply ignorant.
Even with all that I still keep coming back.
I recommend you first try a simple OO project yourself.
I think it just died...
A lack of that feeling will make you feel less good. Experts say it takes up to a month for that imbalance to normalize.
Great talk about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWLnlhLNa28&feature=youtu.be...
You should switch from sugary drinks to water and fruit. It takes about 3 weeks to adjust. ( and avoid chocolate milk )
Can you give a few examples why is it so bad?
I wish I had this in school. This might just spark a new interest in pure math for me.
...
I think I broke it: y = x^2 / ( 6000/t^(t*t) )
After two years: 89.9%
After four years: 97.2%
After eight years: 99.3%
For example, if you have a ship capable of continuous acceleration at 1g, you can reach any point in the universe on the order of ~50 years.
Manual memory management can get tiring. Only if you don't exercise.
String handling is manual memory management. See above. See above.
The support for concurrent programming is anemic. Introducing C11 and OpenMP!
Terribly named standard functions: isalnum, fprintf, fscanf, etc. Beauty is subjective.
The preprocessor is the best thing ever.
Not feeling your smartest today? Have a segfault. Can I have another?
Lack of good information when segfault occurs... the "standard" GNU toolchain doesn't tell you the causes of segfaults in the standard runtime. Enable debug mode.
If that code is legacy, you're in for two days of not looking like a hero. Luckily there are 137 alternatives.
:-)
On a side note, I was surprised at his attempt at a romance novel. I was pretty good, but too long.
In the meantime, let's take a look at some extraterrestrial technology: http://youtu.be/uIlu7szab5I?t=16s
He is expressing an opinion and even if he is wrong, it is still an interesting idea, and shows some effort. A decent short explanation could show the mistake, and make a good comment->answer combo.
Instead you quoted a comment which is out of context ( Feynman's comment is intended for physicists of his level ), contributing nothing.
( Please don't take this as a personal attack ( it isn't), but more a thought what's wrong with HN in light of recent debate )
