Contrary to this, if you only have two lanes available, and trucks aren't allowed to overtake, you'll eventually end up with a long train of trucks without any gaps, and it'll become impossible to merge onto the highway from an on-ramp.
I also still have an old 20,000 mAh Anker power bank, and my only issue with it is that the micro-USB charging port is starting to wear out. For the rest, it's still brilliant, and it holds its charge very well while in storage.
In hindsight, I really love the way Vista looks. I don't think I ever used it as a daily driver (I went from the family XP computer to a Win7 laptop, I think), but the glassy transparency is certainly something.
It also does harm to the communities of smaller Wikipedias:
'a user from the Tumbuka Wikipedia reported that they had initially felt "hope and joy that a small community had then gained another native editor", before finding out that this account had been a promotional sockpuppet.'
This seems really inaccurate to me. I had to manually enter my device (Galaxy A55 5G), and then I held a tape measure next to my phone. What the site claimed was 16cm was actually only 14.3cm.
It's blocked by my corporate networking filter for me, in the category "Illegal downloads". So the Russian sanctions message is probably incorrect indeed.
According to Jimbo Wales, they complied in order to not "lose the possibility to appeal". Apparently, "the short term legal requirements in order to not wreck the long term chance of victory made this a necessary step." WMF lawyers are doing "everything [they] can to win this battle for the long run, as opposed to petulantly refusing to do something today."

According to the article, it was monitoring bus voltage, but I could imagine it was used to measure the current being used by the telemetry system. So if it was used as an ammeter, it would've been placed in series.
This is in the U.S., where gas is insanely cheap compared to Europe. I'd be curious to see what the math looks like with, for example, Dutch gas prices, which are currently almost at €2 per liter, which is just over $8 per gallon at current exchange rates.
Since this only seems to happen in Ireland, could it be because Ireland technically has summer time as its standard time, and winter time as negative DST? Not sure how that's implemented in tzdata, but it could very well be that some applications can't handle that.
Yes, I've done that, because the reflog keeps more than just commits. It also keeps checkouts, merges, steps in rebasing, etc. So I've checked out a HEAD@ ref, when I made a mistake in merging or rebasing.
IIRC, the button in the bottom right is intended to not remember the change. To make the full width setting persistent, when you're logged in, go to Preferences -> Appearance, and disable "Enable limited width mode".
That might be impressive, but it doesn't prove that he's notable. Have there been articles about him or his work in newspapers, art magazine, etc? Have art critics commented on his work? If so, that could be used to establish notability, and be used as sources for an article about him.
