qweqwweqwe-90ion Why thieves love to steal catalytic converters

They probably weren't being literal.

I disagree, but you are entitled to your opinion. And also to try and change the situation democratically.

qweqwweqwe-90ion Why thieves love to steal catalytic converters

Your example is interesting because 21 feet is enough distance for someone with a knife to stab a someone before they can draw a gun (under 2 seconds)

I think most would agree that waiting to shot until you are suyre you will emerged out of a struggle with stab wounds or broken bones is too late.

Also, "it" needs to exist before you can sell it...

qweqwweqwe-90ion Why thieves love to steal catalytic converters

You either believe in a democracy or you don’t. Minority rights have been pretty well protected through democratic decisions.

qweqwweqwe-90ion Why thieves love to steal catalytic converters

I'm pretty sure any country would be fine with you killing someone in self-defense...

qweqwweqwe-90ion Why thieves love to steal catalytic converters

You can't stand your ground going something illegal -> a criminal doesn't have the "right" to shoot at police .

qweqwweqwe-90ion Why thieves love to steal catalytic converters

What's wrong with choosing rights democratically?

qweqwweqwe-90ion Microsoft Edge’s new ‘Buy now, pay later’ feature is the definition of bloatware

You spread misinformation. Any ad company can use FLoC.

Let me be very explicit for you: privacy advocates say 3rd party cookies are bad b/c they allow tracking yet the eu blocks google from removing them b/c they think it might hurt their own ad tracking companies.

qweqwweqwe-90ion Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy

Snowden didn't have a degree and worked in DC beltway :P Anyway, most of the jobs that showed up when I googled "senior robotics engineer Virginia" don't mention a cert or degree (they ask for X-years of professional experience) or only mention a degree within a list of many desired qualifications ...

If the cert doesn't exist (cert equivalent to a decade+ of experience in robotics) then how can a company care about it?

https://www.nbcnews.com/business/corporations/pacific-gas-el...

"PG&E paid top execs $17 million in bonuses from 2012 to 2017"

You really think 17 million would have made a difference? Is that enough money to even bury 1 mile of transmission lines at Californian's exorbitant infrastructure cost?

qweqwweqwe-90ion Nuclear power is the best climate-change solution

Thanks to the "Friends of the Earth" and "Natural Resources Defense Council" for pushing us to coal, natural gas, and blackouts... Also raising rates to pay for the premature decomissioning.

qweqwweqwe-90ion Apple’s browser engine ban is holding back web app innovation

I'm guessing the author wants site to be to send notifications. Please never do that. PWA are 99.999% spam. See Firefox’s research on the topic. I hate every time I visit a new site and there’s some dumb pop up on my browser asking me to enable push notifications. Sometimes I miss click and end up having to go through the annoying process of removing them. The recent mozilla study showed that sites already try and show <<100s billion notifications to users a year, let's not add to that.

> Notification prompts are very unpopular. On Release, about 99% of notification prompts go unaccepted, with 48% being actively denied by the user.
