There's no incentive to fix it and plenty of incentive to let it remain "Someone Else's Problem" or indeed make it worse.

Maybe because the Planned Parenthood shooter specifically mentioned "no more baby parts"? And Planned Parenthood has been HEAVILY featured in the media this last year, falsely painted by the christian right as a baby-killing organization?

Good the fuck luck. Pharmaceuticals are one of the biggest lobbying groups in DC. Advertising firms would be heavily against this as well.

People have been migrating to cities for years and years now, the rural areas of America are less populated than ever. I'm sure there's some middle ground where we can put new power plants that are relatively unpopulated.

I agree, but let's not rush to blame "the youth". "The youth" has been writing and emailing and calling Congress to tell them we care about this issue but it's not like they really listen to their constituents when so much campaign money is on the line.

So, am I wrong, or does the Steam Link do all of this and more? http://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/0/535152511... you can add any program, including spotify and google chrome to your steam library, and thus stream it to your TV.

Haters gonna hate, hate, hate. Have you tried it out? People use it for much longer than 5 minutes without any pain. I don't think anyone is expecting to wear a VR headset for 24 hours straight. It's not all extremes.

And therein lies the problem with most methods of government regulation. The worst that happens is usually a fine. Certain violations need to start carrying mandatory jail sentences.
pyrocat··on SSD Prices in a Free Fall
I agree to a large extent but I think 80GB is an extreme on the low end. Many modern games (especially MMOs) are 20GB+. Windows 7 alone requires a huge amount of storage. I have a 120GB partition at home (just for OS+programs, not data) and I'm constantly uninstalling steam games in order to install others. If you want a modicum of breathing room, I'd say minimum 200GB.

Really? I certainly liked the N64 and Gamecube controllers, but they're not exactly ideal designs for a "universal controller". The wiimote had kind of crappy motion controls and was borderline useless for anything that didn't involve motion. The Wii U uses upgraded wiimotes that suffer the same problem, and the gamepad is more like a giant gameboy than a controller. Plus we can't use any of those controllers on a PC without additional adapters or significant hardware hacks. The Xbox 360 (and to a similar degree Xbox One) controller is designed to be universal, and if you look at what people are using for PC gaming it's pretty much just those two.
