I am always a fan of a safety net but in the case of kreci the upside of continuing his path surely beats dedicating his resources to a full-time day job.
On a minor side note: Am I the only one to notice that he seems to move quite a lot with his body during the interview?
Their 'Hey, I told you not to click but you did anyway' screen is not only annoying and headache-inducing. In my opinion, it could also be dangerous.
Reminding oneself of http://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/seizure.html from time to time is a good idea.

A few other thoughts:
"Videolla is a media business revolution!" on your homepage is enclosed in quotation marks. If it is a real quote, attribute it correctly and let people know of its source.
Getting the [Site in 70 seconds] video onto the main page is something that could also increase your conversions.
Seeing the word "Sign" twice in your menu bar (Sign In/Sign Up) somehow does not look right to my eye. I believe something similar to Log In/Sign Up might improve usability of your site by approximately 0.0018%.
Details like these are not necessarily what you should focus on right now. But as your schedule permits, you might want to allocate some resources to A/B testing if you are not already doing so. Find out what works. Rinse and repeat.
As far as I can tell from the outside, many of the well-known employees of Google are still happily with the company.
Someone might want to check this table ( http://www.pixelbeat.org/misc/google_stars.html ) to evaluate whether these "Google Stars" are still with the company in order to get a feeling of whether the sentiment of top employees abandoning Google holds true.
I find it intolerable to strike comparisons between the Holocaust and modern-day Vienna.
Works in Firefox, though.
Out of interest: How many hours of your time were approximately invested in writing this blog post? A rough estimate is fine enough.

I have not checked their figures but in the case of these companies, the proposed 100K formula is mostly way off the mark.
As for NASDAQ-100 companies, the following chart is very informative:

I read the article one or two hours ago and the NYT has switched both the main article picture (it used to be the small one that can be seen once scrolling down) as well as the caption below the image.
I wonder why/how often they do that.
