I used to freelance when I learnt to code in college and I wrote many such small automation scripts for quite a few people. Looks like the AI is already taking away some jobs ;)
I was hesitating in posting it to HN but now I am glad I did.
Has helped me in forming deep friendships, make new friends, and overcoming my shyness.
Recommend 10/10
Here is a short essay I wrote recently. Will probably write a blog post soon too.
Thanks for noticing. Now I have to go check my notes to find the link
Every interviewer asked me about my side projects and the tech aspect of it. The fact that it was used by 5k+ users at that time was always met with amazement and appreciation.
At my current employer, I was told that me trying things out and learning things on my own (demonstrated by me growing my SaaS) was one of the big factors in me getting hired there.
[All my interviews were at startups]
Of course once you are employed you should follow this advice
I too am considering switching to Obsidian at least to see the difference wrt LogSeq as per my current note-taking approach.
I like Obsidian's community and development better but used LogSeq because of the outliner experience.
Maybe that's the problem. If you tell her that she is not allowed to read books from one part of the shelf, that will make her more curious about them ;)

Maybe if the elites start taking their lives more seriously and threaten to move away from these cities we might start seeing some action.
> the kind of person who lives in a Housing Society in Noida, Gurgaon, or Ghaziabad doesn't know or care to partake in Gheraos, Bandhs, or Dharns to push their point through.
That's what I wanted to say with my earlier comment.
Noida, Ghaziabad (UP), Gurugram (Haryana) are a few examples which are highly populated. Noida is slowly growing as UP's manufactoring hub, already being its IT hub. Gurugram is another IT hub.
A lot of this problem is also because of the apathy of the working class who reside in these cities.
We have to learn the art of activism :(
1. Lack of political willpower. It is still not considered to be a very high priority thing by those in power, and even the people who live in the region.
2. Again, due to politicians, bureaucracy, and their corruption. Example -
> In two years, Delhi (state govt^) spent Rs 68 lakh on stubble decomposer, Rs 23 crore to advertise it [0]
> ‘No other option’ — as its fields turn black & skies smoky, why Punjab won’t stop burning stubble [1]

If a few companies piss-off each other enough, we might start seeing open protocols for communication

- the wind patterns on Earth change, resulting in climate change. Seasons will alter. Rains will be affected. Widespread famines and floods.
- Point 1 rendering a lot of solar and wind energy farms unusable.
- Less sunlight results in less photosynthesis. This again causes chimate change, loss of biodiversity.
What else?
But people use Telegram for its plethora of features, the UX, and its attention to even the smallest of details.
Now it is a cesspool of trolls everywhere.
Now checking comments used to generate so many negative emotions in me that I have told myself the same - "never look at the comments". I feel happier now.
