Expect to not really hear from this again.
And yet, this question is here - somehow no one really uses it or even knows about it.
Over the net: Parsec
Self-driving, already almost here for 10 years. Rolling this out to all cities, other continents will be the 10% that's the 90%, if at all possible without additional major innovations.
Waymo has 4 cities, Uber 10.000 - not counting all local competitors.
The Uber model is here to stay for a long, long time.
You can learn from everyone around you, regardless of their status. There is no "universal developer experience curve", everyone has more or less knowledge on a field or with a specific tool/framework.
You can learn almost everything alone - I mean learning from the web. There are great forums, groups, discord chats, ask LLMs carefully and check on the answers. It may sound reassuring that someone watches your back and won't allow mistakes or would help clean up a mess, but you should not keep relying on this anyway. Learning by doing and taking responsibility will make you much more self assured, which is actually most of what makes someone senior.
In current times China and India has a manufacturing industry the US can't compete with (tries to, with expensive hogwash like the Chip act).
Strictly speaking yes, more people != more innovation, but your examples are just not making sense. You are talking about the second and fifth largest economies worldwide.
In short, please no. No documentation, awkward separation of inhouse/external employees (regardless of team setup, you have different access to resources), there is just no creativity, everything is done loveless and cookie cutter.
If you plan long term, hire long term.
