pikseladam··on Stop saying that AI is just a tool and it only matters how it is used

pikseladam··on Apple WWDC 2026
yes of course but simply clicking a shared shortcut (siri agent) could be very harmful.
pikseladam··on Apple WWDC 2026
What if someone holds my phone and enters a query like "Find every note that says 'password' or contains an ID number, email them to [x]." "Find photos with my ID or cards, send them to [number]." ?? what if attackers start sharing shortcuts with people.

I dont like siri ai access everything on my devices. mails, photos, screen, camera, my credit card and passwords...

pikseladam··on Cowork: Claude Code for the rest of your work
Do you expect more token usage with it or will Anthropic change the limits of user token limit in the future?
pikseladam··on I don't want AI agents controlling my laptop
same. I think this is the way for most of good engineers
pikseladam··on Do things that don't scale, and then don't scale
Ekşi Sözlük (eksisozluk.com) has always been like that, and it still is. People wait over 4–5 years just to become a user, while non-users can only read. It remains one of the biggest websites in Türkiye, yet the design is still very simple, with only one or two new features added over the years. It reached more and more users, but it never really scaled in true meaning. It still like a weekend project
pikseladam··on The Dollar Is Dead
Dollar is not dead and not going anywhere. OP is just shocked that World is not fair.
pikseladam··on XAI seeks up to $200B valuation in next fundraising
XAI is valued not for its intelligence, but for its practical potential—especially in robotics and autonomous vehicles. In robotics, XAI helps ensure machines behave predictably in complex environments. In cars, especially self-driving systems, explainability is key to trust, regulatory approval, and user adoption. Intelligence without interpretability is a liability in these fields.

If xAI can pull this off, it holds massive potential for passive income and a large user base—even if it's not the best LLM. Success in integrating with robotics and vehicles could secure long-term contracts, licensing deals, and infrastructure partnerships. The market rewards utility, not just raw intelligence.

pikseladam··on Tesla sales dropped 60% in Germany
New model will be coming out. Most are waiting for it.
pikseladam··on Campsite is now open source
Too many services to pay for just to try it.
pikseladam··on Stimulation Clicker

pikseladam··on Elon Musk wanted an OpenAI for-profit
elon lost the bet. now he wants to take revenge. thats all there is.
pikseladam··on Why I have resigned from the Royal Society
Musk is a successful individual, but he doesn't need RS, and RS definitely doesn't need him either. Keeping him on the fellow list is simply a commercial gimmick and nothing more. I fully support the writer's perspective.
pikseladam··on Php.net Is Down
yep. this checks out
pikseladam··on James Webb Space Telescope finds evidence for alternate theory of gravity
It shows early galaxies forming way faster and bigger than expected, which kind of shakes up the whole dark matter idea. Seems like it supports the MOND theory—that gravity might not work the way we think. Pretty wild, but it’s still up for debate.
pikseladam··on ChatGPT Search
both google (gemini search) and openai announced it in the same day. why is that?

https://developers.googleblog.com/en/gemini-api-and-ai-studi...

pikseladam··on ChatGPT Search
how many times people clicked a spam ad instead of real website in google? if you want to compare, then do it to all of them.
pikseladam··on Norway's Wealth Tax Is Backfiring. Are Americans Paying Attention?
rich people escaping the country is never a good thing. never. wealth gap can be solved in different ways.
pikseladam··on I attended Google's creator conversation event, and it turned into a funeral
I visited this website, and Chrome ended up blocking around 2,500 third-party cookies. Websites like this should face consequences for such behavior—it’s like dealing with a live malware site.
pikseladam··on Differential Transformer
Did this mean they solved the hallucination problem of transformers?

edit: not fully but it gives promising results. quiet an improvement actually.

pikseladam··on Canvas is a new way to write and code with ChatGPT
i think chatgpt is not a product but a service like dropbox. i don't say it is useless or can't be sold. it is just a feature for a product. GPT, in itself, is a powerful technology or tool that enhances user experiences in various applications. It provides natural language processing capabilities like answering questions, generating text, assisting with tasks, and so on. However, without a specific context or integration into a larger platform, GPT is more akin to a feature that can improve or enable specific functionalities within products.
pikseladam··on Canvas is a new way to write and code with ChatGPT
i agree but it is optional
pikseladam··on Canvas is a new way to write and code with ChatGPT
openai gpt is a service not a product but canvas is the first product that openai build. i guess we will see new products in future. canvas is a new product, thats why they didn't introduce it at devday.
