Hello I'm Tad Chef, online publisher since 1997, Web 2.0 enthusiast and social media power user. I blog for several years, contributing among others to Google Blogoscoped or CSS Globe. My new blog redefines what many misunderstand, SEO. It's called SEO 2.0 - http://seo2.0.onreact.com

onreact-com··on SearchMe IP for Sale
Not sure billboards is effective "marketing" these days especially for Web services.
onreact-com··on Is the Internet melting our brains?
No, it isn't. On the other hand there is no reason to blindly believe that the Web will make us communicate better than in real life. This guy hasn't been in flame war yet I guess.
onreact-com··on Is the Internet melting our brains?
This is not an analysis, just a polemic full of words and expressions like "hysterical", "luddites", "hogwash".
onreact-com··on Street Legal Jet Powered Beetle (2006)
So you agree that it's a penis? ;-)

Justice is not revenge.
onreact-com··on Wordpress Exploited – 2.8.4 Release
Yeah. I'll consider Drupal as well for blogging. Are there some good themes for Drupal and does it support pingback?
onreact-com··on Street Legal Jet Powered Beetle (2006)
It's a penis!
onreact-com··on Ask HN: What was the last time a requested feature was implemented ?
Where can I download the software? I like it a lot. Maybe YCombinator should sell it ;-)
onreact-com··on Is there such a thing as too much freedom?
"There ought to be limits to freedom."*

*George W. Bush 1999

I don't agree though. Now that you can do everything you want it's time to devote yourself to a good cause.

What is news.arc?
onreact-com··on 50 Cent's 10 lessons for success in business - and in life
"Before it is too late you must master the art of knowing when and how to be bad - using deception, manipulation, and outright force at the appropriate moments."

When is the appropriate moment to use outright force? Like in "Get rich or die trying"? Should you be able to shoot your competitors?

onreact-com··on 50 Cent's 10 lessons for success in business - and in life
Do we allow top 10 lists again on HN? Or does it just depend on the source? Corporate media are allowed but not bloggers?
onreact-com··on [dead]
No, it supports photos, video, music, Facebook etc. so It's a multimedia device and certainly no digital photo frame but I'm not here to discuss that. If someone else thinks it's a "digital photo frame" it's hers or his responsibility not mine.

I want to be able to at least delete this submission which is allegedly mine.

onreact-com··on [dead]
When people don't read my submission it's not my problem. When they flag it for the wrong reason it shouldn't be my problem either. It should be checked whether it's OK or not.

In case you change my submission to the worse due to false flagging don't make me responsible for that.

onreact-com··on [dead]
I've seen many post headlines or sources changed afterwards. In most cases the decisions were right. Two false edits on one day are a little too much.

That's why I want to at least have the ability to delete posts that were formerly mine.

I resubmitted the original source later on after my URL was changed:

onreact-com··on How Facebook Became Cash-Flow Positive A Year Ahead Of Schedule
I remember a year or two ago everybody in the press complaining how Facebook had huge numbers of users but no profits. Now the press struggles itself while Facebook got profitable a year ahead of the plan.

The same thing will happen to Twitter. Today everybody nagging that they don't earn money, tomorrow there will be shock and awe.

onreact-com··on HP launches new digital photo frame
The original headline, the one I submitted this post with, is: "DreamScreen: HP Beats Apple to the Punch With Sleek Tablet"

While it's certainly not perfect it's still much better than the completely false "HP launches new digital photo frame".

Crippling headlines after the submission doesn't make sense.

onreact-com··on DIY Traffic Calming
Please DO NOT REMOVE my URLs.

This is not the same story as changed here: http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=827719

How can you cripple a popular submission like that? This amounts to censorship.

onreact-com··on The Man Who's Beating Google
"Corporation" and "moral" are two words that don't work in one sentence.

There is a good movie about this issue: http://www.thecorporation.com/

onreact-com··on [dead]
This is not a blog. The "stories" don't have permalinks. This is a page about DIY traffic calming with several examples.
onreact-com··on HP launches new digital photo frame
I guess the price is crucial.
onreact-com··on HP launches new digital photo frame
Good point, but I guess it's more of an entertainment device. Something like a social media client + Web radio: I guess they'll add a real browser soon in order to sell more than a few of them.
onreact-com··on Google Homepage Redesign
As I almost never actually look at their homepage using Google from toolbars or browsers directly this is of marginal interest.
onreact-com··on [dead]
Not at all, your "actual post" just contains two small images and a few lines of text while my submission contains a huge report and several examples.

Try scrolling next time.

onreact-com··on The story of the financial crisis, from one of the people who predicted it
Groupthink!
onreact-com··on This is what a corporation looks like...
This will become a classic like theyrule.net
onreact-com··on The story of the financial crisis, from one of the people who predicted it
I prefer the original headline: "It’s Hard Being a Bear (Part Four): Good Economic Theory"
onreact-com··on Blogging begins turnaround for homeless woman
Inspiring story. It won't work for all homeless though. Giving homeless people a voice, via Web access is a good idea though.
onreact-com··on Unemployment is not a disease
"unemployment is not a disease, but the natural, healthy functioning of an advanced technological society."

This is almost true. Everybody who wants to work should be able to do so, have the right to do so. It's not needed for society as a whole that everybody has to work (to survive) like today.
