Here's what I thought - If you post something with the same external link, the post will deleted if the earlier one was posted within certain interval, say two days.
But, I thought they are removed. And both of these links were posted at the same time (reads 29 minutes ago).
If you're not looking for an overtly complicated project, try hiring undergraduate students. Not from any university though. Try the students IIT's and BITS Pilani. These are the foremost technical institute in the country. So, how do get in contact with them? Visit their Computer Science Association websites, contact their student president to help you out. More often than not, you will find brilliant programming talent this way. Some of them will value a letter of recommendation (that may help in their MS or PhD) very highly.
If not that way, always insist on seeing the portfolio/previous work of the guy you'll be outsourcing too. Else chances are you might end up outsourcing, say a e-commerce implementation, to someone just learnt how to echo in php.
The irony : I am coding for a startup that found me somewhere on the internet.
Incorrect.
From http://www.flickr.com/help/limits/
"When you have a free Flickr account, you can upload 2 videos and 300MB worth of photos each calendar month....Your upload limits are reset to zero at midnight in Pacific Time Zone (Flickr headquarters time) on the first of each calendar month."
Say like, you can use it for free for the first month, then if you like to continue with it, pay $11.
Though, I am skeptic if my mail will ever be read.
On the other hand, generalizing this, making text copies on videos would enable search not only on the metadata of the video, but its content as well. Imagine trying to search for a movie by a particular dialogue you remembered. Other trivial case would to be to generate subtitles for the video, or feeding the output to a language translator enabling me to watch, say an academic video spoken in chinese without available subtitles.
But, making an overall generalization for "all" Indians is a bit hurtful, personally. There is no denying about the job boards things, but that generalization is not true, atleast from my personal experience of college life at BITS, Pilani and interaction with students from IIT's.
