As a bit of an explanation I generated these before Nano banana pro came out, and at the time I made a large comparison grid for various image and text models. For this style qwen image performed very well. LLM wise I started with 5.1 and updated to 5.2. Of course with the rate of model release my choices are pretty much already obsolete... Expense is also a factor for a hobby project, and NB pro is 7.5x more expensive than Qwen image.
I wonder if the models improved image understanding also lead to better spatial understanding.

I will say that as a matter of language design 1 based indexing is perfectly fine, 0 based indexing is perfectly fine. Choose your own indexing is a hilarious foot gun, so no surprise it went off sometimes. Fortunately using it seems to be quite rare.
Timezones are pretty crude method of figuring out if someone is awake, or the sun is up anyway.
> If you somehow got your hands on a modern nuclear weapon and you had a team of PhD engineers, a year of time, and the best tools in the world, you might be able to get the radioactive material out, but you absolutely would not make it explode.
I'm saying that there's no "might" about extracting the radioactive materials. Nor do you need "a team of PhD engineers, a year of time, and the best tools in the world". An angle grinder and a couple days should suffice.
As for making it explode, that may indeed be very difficult, but I am not highly confident given the military's general attitude and track record. Hopefully my cynicism is unfounded, but supercomputer simulations primarily designed to ensure that aging weapons still function doesn't really help with security.
Generally this sounds nice, but I don't really believe it without some evidence of actually motivated red teams testing the system.
moral "Your stealing them from healthcare" (lots of people have a couple old masks, or can make one from a t-shirt)
paternalistic "You'll go do stupid stuff if you have a mask" (Exactly why we shouldn't have people wash their hands)
ridiculous "You'll touch the mask and get it on your hands" (Is that worse than inhaling it? Plus it physically prevents you from touching you mouth or nose, which is the real danger.)
insulting "You can't possibly wear a mask correctly" (and why can't we figure that out? Plus it still helps both for protecting other people and ourselves. If something doesn't work perfectly then we shouldn't do anything at all?)
just false "it doesn't work" (except in asian countries and for healthcare workers, and in studies, and in common sense)
You are making quite a strong claim. Do you have any evidence for that? Why would getting some coronavirus on your hands when you take the mask off be worse than inhaling it? Of course many healthcare workers are being issued only one respirator per day, and they are exposed to drastically more coronavirus. It's not exactly difficult to simply wash a cloth mask like any other piece of clothing, and a surgical mask isn't very difficult to sanitize either.
Moreover if you are sick and don't know it a mask protects everyone else from the primary infection route.
