mrzerga··on What if middle-class jobs disappear?
me thinks this is very important topic to consider...cause this is happening at an intensifying pace all over the globe
mrzerga··on My docs got dropped in the Stratfor leak
flagged. blurbs like this are pointless waste of my time, so your email has been revealed, WHO CARES? dont post garbage like this on HN.
mrzerga··on Ask HN: How do you keep track of your ideas?
the same thing that im using for planning and keeping my notes - ToDoList, similar to evernote, but much more customizable. freeware obviously.
mrzerga··on Chromebook Arrives as Netbook Checks Out
I am sorry, but to be honest chrome noteboks are nothing more than just a fad that will pass, sort of like windows zune. not sure about netbooks but i still like hem. and i bought second one recentlty.
mrzerga··on Business Cofounders, Go Fuck Yourselves
Excellent response, to my flame-bait about monkeys in the first comment :) I personally respect technical guys more than the said business co-founders...
mrzerga··on Business Cofounders, Go Fuck Yourselves
Wow a real flame bait. i suggest another topic to discus here on HN:any monkey can learn to code, and read manuals all day lon. some monkeys get an ego and start thinking that. they are somehow more hardworking or smarter. not true. you just a monkey that can read and obbey instructions in the book.
mrzerga··on Dwolla Grid is here. Cash just got more secure than plastic.
like...total confusion... confusing article. confusing comments....

if it quacks like a duck, that it must be a.. paypal?

or how are you guys different from paypal, again?

something about third party developers....how are you going to atract 3rd-parties if I as a consumer after reading post and comments still do not understand what your service does, and what are the benefits...apart from privacy - this stuff is just plain pointless in this day and age....

mrzerga··on The 2-step trick to getting sweet-ass job referrals
IMHO: don't see no problem or valuable advice in the post above. If you are really interested in helping person, you will explain the need for specifics. If not, you'll give an answer you gave.

Move on, nothing to see here.

mrzerga··on The Hacker's Path
bunch of pointless garbage - both articles and comments, haven't learned a single useful thing... Next, please!
mrzerga··on Philip Kaplan on Getting Users For Your New Startup(be scandalous)
sorry if it was already posted, i probably missed it - overall an interesting read, and somewhat different view from most of the "5 things/ideas/points" type of articles on HN lately.
mrzerga··on Show HN: Requesting feedback on my side-project chatteranalytics.com
i am n00b in webdev, but i have a feeling this is pretty useful tool.
mrzerga··on Instant.io - Massive Google Translate (built in 8 hours)
>I launched 3 sites recently (Instant.fm, Instant.IO, and >EmuSpin) (feross.org) > 2 points by feross 1 hour ago | flag | discuss

we got it the first time, stop treating hn as your blog

mrzerga··on Why I wake up at 5AM - The value of purposeless moments
Yeah, for the thing with mornings and evenings is that in the evenings i am a total dumb-dumb. in the mornings i am overflowinh with ideas, projects etc. so thereis.serious hain for me when
mrzerga··on How to hack yourself a standing desk - an illustrated guide
motorized table base can be bought for ~500$ ( http://www.tablelegworld.com/Motorized-Table-Legs )and then any spare table top can be attached to these - not that expensive in my opinion - and you get a working thing rather than some book or brick based hack which sucks in the long term
mrzerga··on Friends Don’t Let Friends Take Education Advice From Peter Thiel
lots of good points from both sides, me thinks there is a growing need for change in the field of education, since the cost, mediocrity, and opportunity cost of education is growing at an alarming rate. I do not know know what would solution be - maybe some more real life experiences injected in the education - say 6 month study/6 month real life - work, startuping, whatever. me thinks that would provide more opportunities for young people than another course on greek philosophy instead. education needs to be disrupted, thats how I feel after I finished uni.
mrzerga··on Where can I get large datasets open to the public?
microsoft azure - they have some large datasets...
mrzerga··on $140 adjustable height standing/sitting table
a note from poor european: there is this desk that i've been salivating at for quite some time, trully love it for the design, saw it in some danish office - they are very popular over there: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=Works... but not quite ready to take the plundge and spend a fortune. on the other hand - im really surprised how expensive these sit/stand desks are - they are no more than couple motors, 2 legs and a table top - why the hefty pricetags...
mrzerga··on Every Day, I Try To Get Rejected
i believe there is some unconvencional value in the advice in the article for the intraverted dudes with low self esteem like me. Given any hypothetical opportunity people like me will evaluate the chances of the positive outcome of the opportunity lower than extravert dudes with higher esteem, and will reject the opportunity outright. While your advice suggests the default behavior, the advice above stresses the need to increase the number of attempts, irregardless of whether they are successful or not, and by the law of large numbers, this might result in higher probability of positive outome/s. Therefore, setting the goal of being rejected more often, might be more productive than waiting for the "right" opportunity to acieve the desired outcome.

p.s. usually I'm not that wordy.

mrzerga··on Dedicated eReaders
honestly, the benefits are plentiful, I own one and the value proposition for me is clear - wide choice of books in tiny package, battery life unheard of and out of reach for years to come for ipad-alikes, minimum of distraction. Overall, the post is a troll magnet.
