One thought: If it only gives you $0.01 profit you'll (have to) push it more than if it gave you $1000 profit. There's a saturation point.

Interesting find! Lots of information about the winding and the materials used. I wish there was more information about the epoxy used to adhere the titanium endcaps to the hull.

I think you mean system call bound which is really another way of saying CPU bound. The hardware underneath is incredibly capable, but the interfaces to it are inefficient. I’m skeptical that JSON payloads over HTTP based applications are saturating 10gig+ network interfaces.
