I'm on xfinity $35 a month for 75mb down. Video meetings are the most demanding part and it's not an issue at all when working from home. The lowest tier Internet these days is more than fast enough. Having lower priced tiers would be nice. Greater Seattle area if anyone is wondering.

Is there a way to get air quality via an api in the US that doesn't require api keys? weather.gov is one example of what I'm sorta looking for. I have a shell script [1] that gets weather and solar radiation from free and open APIs. Adding in some sort of air quality index would be great.

Emissions reduction isn't the goal, it's a nice side effect of this. Not needing to replant every year is the reason for using this rice.

I call the spam texts (hi Bob, it's Alice, we met last night type) and it's usually a Google voice number that want you to sign up for their whats app channel. I now text back them that we met last night and they can join my crypto investing WhatsApp group and I've gotten a lot less sms spam as a result. Must be on their black list now
