Everything bought and sold privately is rationed based on your ability to pay, including such vital resources as food, shelter, transportation, clothing, and higher education, so why is medical care to be treated so differently? If we agree that because medical treatment must be rationed because it is a finite resources, the debate is really comes down to who decides how this rationing is done and by whom.
America isn't a cruel society, it's a society that recognizes that life is inherently cruel. No amount of collective effort will ever change that, and so Americans focus on strengthening themselves in order that they will be better able to handle the cruelty of life.
Honestly, with the level of scrutiny Trump is receiving by the types of people who would be willing to edit Wikipedia pages and who are prominent in tech and the media in general, it's completely unsurprising to see such a large "Legal & Ethical Controversies" section. The left is drowning in their own data because criticizing Trump is such a cheap way to get clicks these days. It's what leads to so many duds in terms of scandals, like this Russia nonsense.
Having swung right in recent years, I'm now dealing with this very problem. It takes a ton of effort to get the full picture on a given story. The more controversial it is, the more google's search results will be dominated by rags like Vox, Slate, and HuffPo.
