The market looks fine right now but after today we may chop a bit.
Suppose $TWTR is $49 a share, you buy a call for $50 and sell a call for $60. Suppose the $50 call is $3 that means you paid $3. Then you sell the $60 for suppose $1. So now you are out $2. That's your max loss.
Now tomorrow $TWTR goes to $35. Everything expires and you lose $2. Suppose it goes to $300. Then your profits are ($60-50)-$2=$8 Profits Suppose it went to $55. Suppose this is after expiry, then your contract is worth $5 but you paid $3 so you made $2 profit, but you also sold 1 contract, so now you have $3 profits.
So in essence, the spread limits your upside, further limits your downside while you are bullish.
Disclaimer: I am in GOOGL 2020-Jul-17 1580 Calls @ 8.20 and it is currently at $12.00 and I am looking for $1620 targets.

When a company is being spun out by a private equity, I am always hesitant to invest in it. I prefer when a company goes to market with their original investment thesis because you never know if the private equity is harming one of their other companies to grow another one.
I.e. Rackspace and Onico are owned by the same subsidiary, suppose Rackspace charges Onico an extra 20% compared to what they are already paying because Onico doesn't plan to go public, however, the extra 20% Rackspace gets looks better and causes a better return on their investment. At the same time, the subsidiary has an incentive to inflate their stock price and not be a bag holder.

I recommend trading manually to feel and listen to the market so that you can adapt your code to it. Also, maybe you are overthinking your strategy so don't hesitate to remove parameters.
My discord is open you can join it and see my trades and look to find any insights from what I enter.
Edit: They have another service for this.
There are posts below that will decry listen to Buffet and others however their accounts are so large listening to them is a disservice to yourself. Also the larger players have larger trades so their strategies are much different from a regular trader and there are lots of places for small accounts (under $5m) to make money.
Also being from Canada, I am keeping all $USD right now.
For example this jobs report that came out should have caused issues since the numbers were crazy and that was as of Saturday. Next week it is going to be way worst but the market brushed it off. The market is not rational.
Let's see how Friday closes. We need to close above resistance levels for key stocks/indexes.
Some things to be aware of are that Tory was the CEO of Rogers previously. Maybe he knew which data they have available and since it was a company owned by a family friend he could get whatever he wants.
Michael Bryant while allegeldy drunk rammed a bicycle off the road on purpose (self-defense) and killed the guy. His wife was in the car as well and they got separated a few months later. He was also the previous Attorney General in Ontario.
