Ask HN: Who can help laid-off workers? Please list resources and services.

The goal is to offer free services & goods, but perhaps this could also be generalized to a monthly thread like the hiring ones.

There doesn't seem to be a standard format for helping those in need, so here are some proposed guidelines to shape the list: only post services & resources that are typically not free but are now 100% free with no strings attached.

Qualified: Download widget that normally costs $99.99 for free.

Disqualified: Enroll in trial program that costs $99.99/mo after 30 days. Download widget for free.

Open question: What other criteria should be used to disqualify services & resources and ensure only helpful ones are listed.
