It should also be noted that Canada does not permit dairy products produced with Bovine Growth Hormone, which makes our industry less competitive that American where the practice is widespread.

Karma works across multiple lifetimes. GE isn't done yet.

Can second this. Did my whole house in Hue and have only had one failure (early on) in 5 years.

This simple procedure increases the selling price of everything. Just a fact.

But they supply all the source for those projects to flourish and have an ecosystem of their own: Librefox, Iceweasel, Reynard, etc, etc.

And three years ago it was Washington and Oregon fires that were making the air unbreathable in Vancouver

Me too. I distinctly remember saying that I would never own a non-solid state boot drive again.

Move it behind a random string (i.e. https://yourdomain.com/gd5mka93) and leave something simple and inoccuoua at the root.

But then you are losing the ability to use it for file sharing ala Google Drive or Dropbox.

I simply moved mine behing a random string with the home of the domain completely innocuous (an HTML re-direct elsewhere)

Then all you need is a good recording and decent headphones

One of the best investments I ever made was in ordering a set of dimming LED stickers from Lightdims.com

I went throught my whole house adding them to powerbars, routers, toothbrushes, smoke detectors, etc. I even found the exact of location to put one over the motion detector on my Ecobee thermostats so they wouldn't light up everytime you walked by. I swear my house is about 1000% calmer than it would be without them.

I assume you are using Linux. Did you do the advanced install to enable S3 hibernation?

After trying all the alternatives I can say that Kdenlive has become my goto for video editing. It's so great to see the team adding amazing new features and optimizing sub-systems. Well done.

Worth also noting that on a per capita basis China aren't even in the top ten.

While it's true that China is currently responsible for the largest share of CO2 emissions at least their output is trending down:

I pin "Note To Self" in Signal and drop important stuff there. For less important stuff I have a Matrix room on my own server.

Does that include transactions over the Lightning Network? If it doesn't then it's entirely meaningless.

The USD still rules (by several magnitudes) for the use cases you mention.

You obviously haven't looked into the tranasaction economics of the Lightning Network. And things will only be mentally priced in USD until we switch to something else - quite possibly Bitcoin.

Except that the Model Y accounts for more fatalities than any other car out there.

Not to mention the Roadster

Hiding your phone number is a setting now. Has been for well over a year.

If only they could be sold in the US

Disabling them is one thing. Having them auto-drive to select locations and self-immolate is another entirely.

Already tried that. Both from my home IP in Canada and from a commercial VPN service exiting in Canada and the US. No joy.

You don't need a lot of RAM to run TruNAS. 16gb should be sufficient unless you are planning lots of VMs.

uBO quit working on mainline Chromium a few months back.

Unfortunately Matrix hasn't yet implemented any PQ encryption so you are subject to store and harvest attacks.

Just tether through your shit phone
