Resume (more info there): http://xra.sh/resume.html
If there's one thing I got from these responses, is that I should look at Kubernetes.
Thank you for your answer.
I never really studied physics, but I found the first books from the "Feynman lectures on Physics" to be very good.
Can you let us have your e-mail address?
Also one should take a look at rlwrap after becoming comfortable with the keyboard shortcuts.
Also it's an alternative to C++ which is heavily used in gamedev. I personally believe Rust can shine in gamedev and every experiment is interesting.
I mentioned it now mostly because I am sure I have exposed myself to risky situations (that could have gotten me a way worse outcome than HPV) out of trying to "solve" loneliness, as we are discussing here. (And I ended up being one of the unlucky with persistent high risk strain, had a couple of cauterizations done.)
In my case, what could have helped me is guidance. Someone to tell me how to find the balance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsPoBXemFmg
I also have seen this happen with others, and have met girls who were able to recognize the "depressed and lonely programmer" pattern themselves through many similar dates (of course over dating apps) they had.
Also, it seems only logical that a totally male-dominated lonely and addictive profession that usually encourages and/or requires a lot of dedication even outside of worktime would produce a bunch of solitary men. (And maybe _attract_ a bunch of others.)
That's exactly how I messed up my own life.
I would say the excessive mediatic exposure of HIV have definitely worked to supress awareness and care for other STIs.
For instance, I am HPV+ and didn't have a clue about the existance of such a thing before getting it.
Of course a very bright engineer will naturally achieve some success, but there will always be a bar limiting his growth to how much people who can open new doors want him around and trust (in a very personal sense) him.
I am sure police officers can be jerks or even completely criminals, but this guy really seems to be crossing the line of common sense.

I have been able to run some big engines on Linux in the past, but it is always somewhat hacky and unsupported. The only game I was able to finish and launch was written in Java using the great libGDX (and I had to rent a mac in the cloud to compile for IOS (when Robovm was officially supported, don't know about how it's done now)). I am now considering Godot for my next game because it is free and runs on Linux.
It is a known inside joke among Brazilian programmers to call ourselves "garoto de programa", which means "program's boy" - laymen therefore think we are referring to male prostitution.
I know I am just complaining like a grouchy old man and not really helping understand and solve the problem, but that's what I can do right now. I would say that maybe we are building too modular software and the complexity of glueing everything together is becoming a problem? I feel like the existance of several "react + this + that" boilerplates indicates something.
I can also be wrong and everything is OK and I am problematizing.
