I myself am not a Salesforce employee but was just curious enough to look up the distance between my home address (Sunnyvale) and the Salesforce tower in downtown SF - just a lil bit out of the requirements (43 miles), it’s about an hr and half driving in rush hours…
If user don’t want to access the iOS App Store they can build the app themselves, I don’t really see what’s your counter argument here. The point I’m making is do not rely on any third party service completely
It would be even better if I don’t need to raise my hands up to type things or use the mouse. I would imagine having your hands up like that to type things is gonna make your arms sour really quick.
I used to love C# and it was my most favorite language for some time too…regarding feature creeps, I’m afraid this is expected for every programming language out there that is developed from within a company. Bloated language and feature creeps are clearly a result from ppl chasing after KPIs and seeking for reasons for promotions. I suspect Dart is on a similar path now.
I grew up using windows until I got myself a MacBook for college. I’m now a heavy Mac user, I enjoy using the Magic Trackpad (so much so that I barely have touched a mouse in the last five years), copying something on my phone and pasting it on my Mac with barely any delay, sharing stuff using Airdrop, not having to worry about virus most of the time, and the consistency of user experience.
I gotta say as a native Chinese myself, I’m super supportive of business moving production away from China. CCP and brainwashed Chinese folks need to realize they can’t do whatever da faq they want just because they have cheap labor as leverage!
I’m very glad I was able to move out of this country… China’s censorship got much much worse after Xi Jinping stepped into power. I remember around 2010 when I was in middle school, I was still able to watch YouTube and browse Wikipedia, and ppl were able make criticism on government and incidents without worrying too much about their own safety. Right now China is filled with misled and brainwashed ppl that believe in everything said and done by the government.…
I would just remember some keywords in either code or the file name and do global search, I barely use splits though bc I think it’s kinda distracting.
I started writing mobile apps for windows phone when I was in high school (2013-2016), then it got killed years later… then when I got into college, they had this things called UWP (Universal Windows Platform) I wrote a simple kanji dictionary for it, then 2 years later, it got killed. After then I started sticking to Flutter and native iOS, got tired of being played like that lol
Can’t agree more! It was until I started my first full time job when I realized how ugly and disorganized my code was… I stopped maintaining one app of mine which I really like and still take pride in only because the codebase was a disaster…
