kpU8efre7ron Hand and Wrist Exercises for Computer Users

That Healing Back Pain book helped a lot of my wrist/back pain as well as my partner's back pain.

kpU8efre7ron Supreme Court to Hear Google-Oracle Copyright Fight

Agreed. Oracle sucks and needs to die off. The sooner the better.

kpU8efre7ron Supreme Court to Hear Google-Oracle Copyright Fight

Would this open the door for some schmucko to copyright push, pop, enqueue, dequeue, etc?

kpU8efre7ron Ask HN: Do you write tests before the implementation?

I've been asked to literally test that values are incremented. Like, does ++ add 1 to the value in C, just to be safe, for the sake of 100% coverage.

kpU8efre7ron Ask HN: Do you write tests before the implementation?

Unrelated but my last employer wanted a full design document and then a full test plan down to each individual unit test before we wrote any code. But then we would constantly be called out in review about not having enough detail and if you.out enough detail you'd get called out for skipping ahead in the process. They also had no coding standard or style guide to speak of. I'm glad I left that job.

kpU8efre7ron OpenWRT will natively support NextDNS in upcoming 19.07.0 release

Does this add a lot of much needed wireless support? I tried this on my wrt3200acm and lost quite a few wireless features and was forced to switch back.

kpU8efre7ron ‘Juice Jacking’ Criminals Use Public USB Chargers to Steal Data

A non tech savvy user would have USB debugging off and dev settings off and would never be promoted it would just be denied be default.

kpU8efre7ron ‘Juice Jacking’ Criminals Use Public USB Chargers to Steal Data

I know the Pixel phones prevent this. By default, USB connections are for charging only. The user has to explicitly enable data every time the phone is plugged into a PC

Even if USB debugging is enabled the user has to manually accept the RSA host key for any debug access to occur.

kpU8efre7ron America’s largest milk producer files for bankruptcy

I love cow's milk but only buy local so I imagine this hurts large factory dairy farms.

With that said, I doubt I could ever bring myself to stop drinking ethically sourced milk. All of these plant based milks are overly processed, expensive, and fortified with a bunch of nutrient junk that is lacking.

kpU8efre7ron Privacy: Is That iPhone?

kpU8efre7ron YouTube suspends Google accounts of Markiplier's viewers for minor emote spam

Nuts. Why not just have a cooldown for emote spam? It's ridiculous it's that easy to have your shit banned.

kpU8efre7ron Life is y = f(x) and can be optimized via gradient descent

I've thought this as well but there is more. You are constantly pulling from memory and examining that input combined with other inputs from other memories that you might not have had in the past resulting in a new memory and input built entirely from past memory.

kpU8efre7ron Systemd needs official documentation on best practices
