Personally I do know the hotkeys and I know that Alt+Enter opens the url in a new tab, but I never use the second one. That's why I was asking.
> What I'm doing instead: in current tab hit Cmd+L to focus on address bar, type query/address hit Option+Enter to open resulted page in a new tab.
Working from home now is bliss. If I'll ever start working in a shared workspace again I want an actual office.
And thus the man-cave was born :)
My dream house would have a big study with books covering the walls floor to ceiling and a big wooden desk in the middle, like the one in Palazzo Revoltella in Trieste[0][1] (by the way, goo see the Museo Rivoltella if you ever go to Trieste).
The current small room I work from is something already. At least I can close the door when I call customers and team-mates. Heaps better than when I had to work from the living room. But a bit more room (and not having to share the space with the pantry) would be nice.

The default for what? Space is not the only consideration. What about bandwidth?
I'm pretty sure spotify, deezer and the others are not transmitting FLACs, especially not at the base quality level.
About the site, those blocks under the "Say goodbye to spam and stop cold emails." heading are impossible to read, and the effect on mouseover don't make it any easier.
Good luck with your endeavour :)
> In Scrum, Product Owners have sole authority over the Product Backlog
While, as per your quote (emphasis mine)
> The Product Owner is also _accountable_ for effective Product Backlog management… The Product Owner may do the above work or may delegate the responsibility to others. Regardless, the Product Owner remains _accountable_.
Meaning they have the final say, not that they decide on their own without any input from the team.
My impression is that OP just had to work with bad POs who didn't understand their role.
And yes, at the time I thought the people were being rude, especially when they where howling at the usherette.
Then I saw other performances online and felt like a complete tool :)
I'm on Android 14 here, shipped with Play Store by default. It still auto-updates apps.
Nope, here in Italy at least it's not compulsory.
Or where you talking about what would happen if such a mandate existed?
I think they're talking about the will to make it, not the ability to.
According to whom? It is open source in the measure that you're allowed to fork and redistribute your modified version. That satisfies the open source definition. If those plugins are open source themselves WPE can set up their own repository and point to it. If it's not, well, they decided to bet on something that could be taken off their hands at any moment.
You may say that this goes against the open source spirit, but that's a different thing. Wordpress is, by any reasonable measure, Open Source.
> WP Engine customising the admin panels, branding and other components to change the experience of Wordpress as they see fit. Isn't that the point of open source?
Sure, but...
> In the same spirit, I can also argue that Automattic doesn't really provide 100% open source Wordpress' experience either - It has many walled features across different price points.
No. The difference is Automattic owns Worpdpress' copyright, WP Engine doesn't. Also, does Automattic claim they provide a 100% open source Wordpress experience?
Let's be clear: I'm not defending WP's actions here (I think what they did is just plain dumb), and I don't have a horse in this race, but here we're conflating what would be ideal (everything is FOSS, Automattic releases everything they do and they compete only on service) with the reality that Automattic is a business and it pursues its own interest. Maybe they're pursuing it in a way that in the end will do them and the ecosystem more harm than good, but what they're doing is just business, and has nothing to do with the definition of open source.

Even better, if you have a tracker that lets you see a whole patch at once (worked fine with milkytracker) download the MOD and play it directly in the tracker
