I also like to think that intelligence is everywhere, but the persistent pursuit of truth is difficult. Zhang embodies a man determined to work on his particular pursuit.
I hope I can be as persistent over time.

What it doesn't have is strict or difficult obstacles that give a perceived difficulty. The game's difficulty hits a plateau quite early on and then it's really an exploration and narrative experience. Which most people prefer. GTA online is a different beast and probably where this one will focus. More live ops and changing / persistent world, more like fortnite's map would be my guess.
This looks good but still doesn't look proper home media server enabled.
My only gripe is filling in card details, there is never a floating icon to click to do it automatically, you need to go to the menu bar and select the card.
Apart from that all perfect!
Where FB wins is it owns the best connections. Who cares what the app shows you, FB actually knows more about who you care about. When that comes to the metaverse that will be like owning the yellowpages and always brings added value.
FB App is dead. Meta is still winning.
I think work is work, the more a workplaces tries to trick you into believing you're in a family or home environment they're not being clear on the work. Competency trumps all benefits.
This is good for both companies as Irnsrc gets deeper down the stack in terms of data and targeting and unity gets more spend flowing into their systems increasing their efficiency.
Too bad the IDFA issue is slowly killing all forms of performance advertising. Unity should be looking to buy studios akin to Unreal IMO.
I quit.
I felt unfulfilled with the excitement and possibility, because life for me lacked meaning. I studied how to be a yoga teacher, focussed on my body and not my mind. I changed my diet to be a lot more veg and I moved out of London.
I have less money, less power, but feel happier. I just worked out that the grind wasn't for me and I enjoyed doing different simple things. I now work as a consultant 6 months of the year and take 6 months off.
Do what feels right for you. Everything feels the way it does for a reason.

Every single app creator out there will now want their own "app store" and it's going to be a mess. 30% fee initially to capture that market was what our company factored in and grew exponentially with. A 15% fee is nothing if the market is fragmented.
So say you have very high taxes, well as with most things the top 10/20% are paying 80% of the taxes. If you bump your tax rate too high you lose the top earner who end up leaving the country. This then creates a ripple of people earning a lot who all leave and you're left with very few top earners and high taxes.
Not sure I am personally for low tax systems but it shows you how most things work best when you're in the middle, not at an extreme.
I also no longer feel the need to be validated by the work that I do but really by how I feel and I feel good.
Say yes to more things, don't conform and never regret.
It's not solving much.
In terms of the ask, I think they are being much cleverer than dumb money as unlocking the GPU mining further could create new areas of economic power, i.e ebay old gpus or push NVIDIA to design a specific crypto gpu?
Either way capitalism is what's driving the team.
This is a play to get content and direct relationships with producers, I don't think they will change the business model.
I've put it on my watchlist as I really liked Northguard, so looking forward to this coming out!
1. Just say yes. When someone asks for anything, say yes, no matter how big or small (help them move out, look after their dog) This will put you into novel situations.
2. Show genuine interest in things. Ask why, learn more, dig deeper, keep conversations going by trying to share anything you think is slightly relevant.
3. Dress up. Wear things that stick out, even just a bit, a funky shirt, a nice bright pair of socks, use these to add flare to a standard dark blue and grey world, people will reflect back and be interested in you.
4. Pick one new thing you want to master (not online) my advice here for all round great friend activities - Rockclimbing, Pub Quizes, Boardgame nights, Cycling, Pottery. Each of these almost always need another person to make them work and that helps you grow your confidence.
5. Don't work so hard. Tell your boss you wanna slow it down, try and do 4 day weeks, give back some commitments, take a pay cut. Don't quit just slow it down and give your head some space.
I'm 35, I just quit my /Director of Product role at a successful startup because I wasn't happy. I'm about to go to Thailand to learn how to become a yoga teacher, not for a career but for a disciplined adventure that will deeply enrich me and is nowhere near a computer! You can do it! Put a plan in motion.HN Believes in you! :D
