kaliali··on How to Start Disrupting Cryptocurrencies: “Mining” Is Money Transmission
The government wouldn't be able to attack the network if they wanted to and I guarantee they've already tried.
kaliali··on Bill Gates left Microsoft amid affair investigation
Stop! This is a danger to our Democracy! The information above will give doubt to our glorious oligarchic leader Bill Gates and how much of a saint he is.
kaliali··on Wikipedia is up (2001)
You also have the same problems of history revisionism for the far left as well.

You can't trust wiki when it pertains to politics.

The internet was more fun until the crybabies and control freaks ruined it.

This site is like a Reddit for the Silicon Valley community, you're not going to find much support. They will soon completely fail though, their ideology doesn't create value. Just keep watching.

kaliali··on Blockchain Is Not Decentralised
The money is back up by US treasury bonds. When the government wants more cash, they issue new treasury bonds in order to print out more dollars. People buy US treasury bonds as a safe investment that they can cash in 10 years later at a certain % interest based on Federal Reserve interest rate.

If you keep printing out money faster than the economy grows, the money will depreciate. If the money depreciates too much, people lose a lot more money on treasury bonds. When people stop buying US treasury bonds, the government can't spend more/pay their bills.

kaliali··on Blockchain Is Not Decentralised
BLOCKCHAIN IS NOT BITCOIN.

Cardano is decentralized.

https://pooltool.io/

With 2,459 active stake pools operating all around the world to process Cardano transactions.

You can see the distribution of Cardano in Biggest Groups (Stake) on top left in the link below.

https://adapools.org/groups

It would take many many groups getting together to take over 50% of staked Ada in Cardano.

Bitcoin on the other hand is not that decentralized

Bitcoin Mining Pools 2020

https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2F...

You can see that if three major mining pools joined together, they could take control of the entire Bitcoin network.

I know this is a site where everyone likes to think they are way more informed than the world population but in terms of cryptocurrency, I find the posts here woefully poor in quality and information.

------

And I haven't even started on Cardano's Project Catalyst - their democratic method of funding new cryptocurrency projects/developers and adding projects on the Cardano Network. All decided and controlled by ADA holders and not necessarily IOHK/Cardano Foundation/Emurgo, the organizations who made Cardano.

------

If you have a problem with my statement, then actually challenge what I have to say instead of hiding behind a downvote. Cut the bullshit propaganda and have an actual conversation about it.

Ethereum staking

Still will have high gas fees.

kaliali··on Bitcoin mining hash rate drops as blackouts instituted in China
Use proof of stake coins like Cardano and Polkadot

They use 10000 to a million times less energy than bitcoin to process payments!

kaliali··on In the Beginning, There Were Taxes
Its like the mafia coming to your door wanting a protection fee but instead the government is much bigger and even pays to punish people for wrong-think like on this site.

If you don't pay your taxes and fight back, the government will send its servants to kill you or beat you until money pops out.

kaliali··on Let us now praise tiny ants
You remind me of a story my grandpa would tell me. One time he was getting off a bus and he saw a woman a few yards a way throwing bread to pigeons. She was saying "oh look at all the pretty birdies. Oh pretty birdies.". Then one of the pigeons layed one thick on her eye. "@%#$ you damn birds %#&@"

Just keep donating piles and piles of sugar to the ants and leave the house for a week or go outside.

kaliali··on Scientists who say the lab-leak hypothesis for SARS-CoV-2 shouldn't be ruled out
Looks good on paper but what is actually happening in reality? How do I know they follow those procedures? How do I know they're not paying someone to give a checkmark for inspection?

What would be the punishment if they were caught not following procedures? Would they publicly punished or would the embarrassment for the Chinese government be quietly swept under the rug?

kaliali··on The US dollar’s hegemony is looking fragile
It is already legal to buy a house with Bitcoin and there are several on the market sold with Bitcoin. Unless you're snorting some right now, I'm not sure what cocaine has to do with it.
kaliali··on The US dollar’s hegemony is looking fragile
Government can't stop people from spending money and moving somewhere they can use cryptocurrency.
kaliali··on The US dollar’s hegemony is looking fragile
Pick one:

Hyperinflation, seizure of citizen assets, stagnant/declining business growth, or cryptocurrency

kaliali··on Cryptocurrency Miners Are Reportedly Ruining the Laptop Market, Too
Bitcoin just won't be running all the transactions, it'll be a storage of wealth.
kaliali··on Cryptocurrency Miners Are Reportedly Ruining the Laptop Market, Too
You're always going to have somewhere around the world with cheaper electricity and people with asics and as long as someone has these things, they will be processing a large amount of crypto transactions and generating loads of wealth. Another incentive: if a single entity has >50% of mining power, they have control of the blockchain.

The only way the miners quit using so much electricity is if the demand goes down (less transactions and less fees) and/or a new cryptocurrency that uses proof of work starts running the game. Proof of work reduces electricity use on the scale of 10000ths to millionths compared to Bitcoin.

Your carbon tax is absolute idiocy in a world where any countries can just give you the middle finger. Would it be universally enforced with a global army that goes and sacks anyone who doesn't follow the rules? Take a look at the UN and see how that works. Many smaller less wealthy countries shit on UN policies all the time and nobody bats an eye.

kaliali··on It's Time to Revisit the Satanic Panic
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_of_Set

The Temple of Set is an occult initiatory order founded in 1975. A new religious movement and form of Western esotericism, the Temple espouses a religion known as Setianism, whose practitioners are called Setians.

The Temple was established in the United States in 1975 by Michael Aquino, an American political scientist, military officer, and a high-ranking member of Anton LaVey's Church of Satan.

kaliali··on The political case for a blanket cryptocurrency ban
The real reason why anyone I know wants cryptocurrencies is to escape inflation and control. The US financial system will collapse, it's not a matter of if but when. You can choose hyperinflation, government seizing assets, government declaring bankruptcy, or cryptocurrency.
kaliali··on The political case for a blanket cryptocurrency ban
The environment argument isnt plausible when you add in proof of stake Cryptos the use thousands or millions of times less electricity than Cryptos like Bitcoin or Ethereum. People really do not know basic fundamental info on crypt I currencies and they make horrible arguments like these, spreading their ignorance.

Yeah... I don't see how anyone would strive to go to China considering everything that's been happening and how racist they are to African immigrant workers over there. If you think the US government is acting xenophobic, China is on a whole different level.
