Thanks!
If I may ask a question, do you have historical air quality data?
Thanks!
P.S.: I'm passionate about air quality, given I have alergies and was an active member of the bicycle activism movement for about 10 years.
To move my mother to Kagi, I had to install Brave Browser on her android cell phone, make it the default browser on Android, change Brave's default search engine and create a desktop shortcut to it.
Android is ubiquitous in Brazil. I won't be able to move much people to Kagi with a process this involved.
Happy to chat further about this topic if you wish, privately or publicly.
But the family plan amounts to 3USD/person/month! I joined a bunch of friends and paid upfront for the yearly plan.
I even moved my 70-year-old mom to Kagi search so she wouldn't fall prey to clickbaits and scams. The extra peace of mind definitely paid off. I am going to move more people to Kagi in the coming months.
The only "feature request" I have is that it should be easier to switch to Kagi. The quotation marks because I know it's not up to them, but to the FCC lawsuit.
Also, if anyone from Kagi is reading, thanks so much for the great service you provide.
I'm going to probably gnome authenticator on top of WSL2, because I like monstrosities.
If you have any other recommendations, I'd gladly hear them.
One issue, though: I took a look at the Cody website and it looks like one can't have unlimited completions even when self-hosting a LLM.
I understand you guys have a business model and need to make money out of it. I'm just asking because I work as a teacher and I have students who can't pay an extra subscription and/or students who want to hack into stuff.
Also, do you know if there is a jQuery-like that actually throws exceptions? Having `$('.box').hide()` tell me there is no `.box` would be pretty useful.
I think it's more of an embrace/extend/extinguish thing.
I use it everyday, it's Windows only, and I didn't find an alternative as easy and "free" (it requires a Nvidia card, but there is no subscription. Unlike, say, Krisp.ai)
And I'd like to share an anecdote - I installed Pop!_OS in a Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra (a combination of weird names) 2 days ago and I'm pleasantly surprised with everything that worked out of the box. The NVIDIA driver works, switching to Intel or NVIDIA works out of the box with zero issues. They even have a nifty command line tool, system76-power.
There are some rough edges. For example, the notebook's speakers do not work, but audio works via bluetooth or connected to a TV. Apparently, Linux Kernel 6.8 should solve that, and I could install it via PPA, but... I'm too afraid to do it. I got old, my primary job is no longer as a dev, and I don't want to spend all that time fixing a Linux system. The Arch Wiki for NVIDIA is incredibly detailed, but Pop!_OS... solves that out of the box.
So far, she is liking it.
Not because I don't think you should be payed for your hard work, but because the extension being free allows me to recommend to any of my students - some of which are very poor.
Thanks!
