same and for some reason people are downvoting. why would we use vibecoded stuff with sensitive information?

This hammer/screwdriver analogy drives me crazy. Yes, it's a tool - we used computers up until now to give us correct deterministic responses. Now the religion is that you need to get used to vibe answers, because it's the future :) Of-course it knows the script or formula for something because it ripped of the answers written by other people - it's a great search engine.

Don't they still employ armies of people to fix things like this?

Lots of "unwashed" scientists too.

How much is the real (non-subsidized) cost of the "paid" plans? Does anyone in the world have an answer for this?

I find it fascinating how they are able to sell their crap software.

Preach brother, preach! :)

but it has AI in it.

Yet, it's not GOD it's a parrot.

Please share examples. Real life game changing examples that were not possible before.

Looking forward to your feedback!

why not set up an IRC server?

This will be interesting too once they launch: https://www.expressivesuite.com/ (web based motion graphics + a vector tool).

How I miss the "old" internet. These fan made websites used to show up in google serps ages ago. I've never ran into these personal websites in the past 3+ years, no matter how deep I search.

wash away the shame? won't work.

our brand name "Paymo" is considered by google a synonym for things like project management. we get competitors that are advertising broadly on our brand name... it's truly mind blowing.

ran into similar issues a couple of times - hate doing business with anything that has the label "enterprise" attached to it...

I panicked even at the fake BSOD... so many memories. Winamp still looks good.

A key aspect of free is the A-Ha moment your users have while using the product. With simple products this moment can be achieved quickly (like watching Netflix for a couple of days, you see the value really fast), with complex products this moment can take quite a while. In our work management SaaS [1] it takes quite some time to see the actual value of the product, we constantly see people converting from free after a year of use :)

What I'm trying to say it, there's no magic formula - you need to understand as well as you can your user base, see how long it usually takes them to understand that you do provide value with the product and importantly check out what your competitors are offering in terms of free plans.

i'm not american, but watching CNN and FOX News is EXACTLY the same thing - two propaganda machines masquerading as news.

I've deleted my WhatsApp account today. It was the only product I've ever used from Facebook, and it will be the last. Say no to this spyware machine.

We were both obviously talking about the modern definition of the Gantt Chart, not the paper version invented pre ww1.

Notion now has a timeline, it's not a Gantt chart :) What you said next is a Gantt chart.
