Watch the 2 parts if you have the time, it's really good.
Any AutoCAD > 2006 (maybe 2004) is still very good today. IMO the versions after 2008 are bloated with shoehorned 3d stuff that work better on other software and isn't the core of AutoCAD (vector drawings).
Until video chat works without plugins I'm using the standalone apps.
I know chrome bundles the hangouts plugin. I wish it didn't and worked without plugins.

So ridiculous it reads like an April 1st joke.
I did it 3 days ago. Try it and see what's there.
If in the past years manufacturers had to cheat on emissions in order to present improvements to performance numbers, then there doesn't seem to be much innovation or the tech has stagnated.
On the other hand, there seems to be lots of room for improvement/innovation on the electric side.
Which people? The developers or the end users? It's a cliché but I can't see my non-techie mom or dad, or cousins, aunts, uncles ever wanting website notifications on their laptop, not even for gmail.
So now everybody gets alerts to accept notifications so those 0.001% techies/devs who want them can use them? they could enable it themselves.
The _very few_ sites include also techcrunch and others. I see people thinking they got a virus because they're getting notifications on their OS by a website they've accepted by mistake.
It can be a copy-paste tool on the internet or whatever, no preprocessor or build tools required. You work directly with styles.css3 in the browser and when you're done you transform it to old style without variables, so it works in older browsers.
That's what I wanted to do last week but as I couldn't find such a tool, at the end I did a search/replace. It was a small project obviously.
And google shows similar but different enough stackoverflow answers, duckduckgo shows only one or sometimes two, many times not the one you're searching for.
I just wish one thing: that it would remember the zoom level on a per website basis.
It's incredible that it's still impossible to do so. Don't the devs use Safari? Or maybe they all have perfect vision and the most expensive displays.
Cork is degradable, recyclable, and does a very good job at a specific thing. It's the bark of a tree which regenerates every few years, so its harvest leaves the tree unharmed.
Maybe it makes sense for Australia not to use it but I don't see why it should be replaced everywhere.
I'm not a movie guy but for some stupid weird reason I love watching what they think about some movies.
There's a delay for how quickly you can use it after the last time you've used it. The delay could/should be smaller, but don't get frustrated. Go slow and don't press too hard.
When you get used to the timings and pressures, it pays off and it's suddenly a pleasure to go and delete or correct something, or the whole input. Now I get frustrated on phones without it.
It's really nice to be able to move the cursor and select text so easily and fast. It feels like a hack.
But now when have to write text on a phone without it, I notice immediately, it's mildly frustrating.
Couldn't Samsung, now releasing their new phone, buy a website's entire ad space for a month or two, let's say techcrunch, and tell them to serve their new phone's ad themselves? Samsung is in for the eyeballs just like when they buy those huge outdoor ads, but even better, no intermediaries.
The publisher would even optimize the HTML5 ads for loading and rendering speed, and have a selection of them so they could rotate them. I believe it could work well for physical items.

Something awesome happened to me. I've known the album well but I didn't know the track was from Bambi. It was a weird track. Some time later I decided to watch Bambi because I was into animation classics and it was awesome all the time thinking "where have I heard this before?" Thank you for making me remember this awesome experience I've had.
For example the Portuguese Wikipedia, shared by Brazil, Portugal (and other countries), with controversial matters many on colonization in the last 500 years, where both sides have academic work to support their contradictory views. Which views prevail?
An example of things being done differently are some Ex-Yugoslav countries (Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, etc) whose languages are more similar than Portuguese and Brasilian Portuguese, and each one has its own Wikipedia, with different articles on the same subject depending on their point of view. Lately, I've been seeing more of the Serbocroatian Wikipedia, which I think aims to unite more of the others.
I don't know which way is better, I'm just a user.
Another reason you can't trust anyone, and this is general to the Internet, is that shilling, commercial and political interests aiming to change perception are everywhere. On reddit or facebook, with or without sources. It's the worst aspect of the internet for me these days.
I have a ton of mariadb processes (I don't even know if this is normal, but it seems to be working just fine) and it gets tiring having to scroll them just to glance the numbers on other processes.

I would have NEVER discovered that this would be even possible any other way. I don't know if it works on other browsers but it's cool that it works.
On right click in chrome I have two "search with DuckDuckGo" options and one searches on a new tab and another on the same tab. I don't know why.
