A fundamental misunderstanding of human nature. There is a significant non-majority of the population that will take the money and do absolutely nothing but waste it.

Remote Senior Software Engineer

https://solace.health

Solace is a healthcare advocacy marketplace that connects patients and families to experts who help them understand and take charge of their personal health.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll join a spectacularly talented team of fellow engineers—but you will also be expected to independently own your product workflow from initial design requirements through deployment. You will be expected to move aggressively, and you will commit code daily, but you’ll get that rush of seeing your work in the wild with live users on a regular basis as you build a revolutionary product from scratch.

You are an experienced engineer who can identify problems and architect the highest-quality solutions on timelines that would be unrealistic for most others. You are curious and enjoy working on ambiguous problems where the solutions are not (yet) well-defined. You take pride in your craft, have impeccable communication skills, and you absorb feedback exceptionally well. You aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Above all, you enjoy taking ownership and are stifled by large organizations.

Never had a positive test. Feels extremely silly to be concerned about this disease two+ years in.

Non-homeschooling is probably one of the more recent developments in education in modern times, but yes, it must be this "super american thing" that can't be allowed. God forbid parents have a say in how their children are being raised.

What other plausible interpretation could there be?

Not a documentary: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0261189/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_2

The replacement is just as good, if not better.

Your point about schools filtering students who are not able to cut it is moot. Do you think standards won't (or haven't already) change to keep as many students as possible? Universities want money, the more students the better. The idea that this change happens in isolation shows a lack of systemic thinking.

Acting like that's the only possible thing different about Covid restrictions just makes your position all the more comical.

A deadly virus where the average age of death is higher than the average developed world life expectancy.

The absolute hysteria is astounding. Isolate for 3 months? Unless you are in at risk group you really should get on with your life.

Compare obesity between the two nations and I think you'll find the culprit.

Almost had me.

Ironically this will give Facebook even more power if they concede to these demands, which I think will ultimately backfire. Censorship as the woke tool of corporations is one of the craziest things happening in a very crazy year.

By essentially free, you mean easily attainable, but not "free" in the economic sense of costing nothing?

Feeding people was solved in the 20th century, perhaps almost too easily. See correlation between poverty and obesity in the 21st century, vs the 19th century.
