How did this get so many upvotes? Did I wake up in 2004?
hshshshshsh··on Claude Sonnet 4.5
Obviously I don't. But I was merely pointing at the fact that people don't really love their job but has somehow invented a story that make them believe they do.
hshshshshsh··on How the AI bubble ate Y Combinator
Is it just me or anyone else fed up with the startup community. I cannot find anyone who actually cares about values and have backbone.

The stories I grew up with of Wozniak, Jobs, Larry and the hacker community does not resemble them anymore.

Everyone I know who raised money is a moron or narcissist.

YC has became like a resume builder.

And the genuine hackers I know of are wasting life away working on pointless projects.

Maybe it's just me not being able to not get out of the daily job schedule and taking the piss out.

hshshshshsh··on Claude Sonnet 4.5
Sure. I don't doubt it. But let's say if I can make a 100 million pounds appears on your bank account tomorrow. Will you say no to it and go back to your day job?
hshshshshsh··on Claude Sonnet 4.5
All these are useless metrics. It doesn't say anything meaningful on the quality of your life. I would be more interested in knowing if he can now retire in next 5 years instead of waiting another 15?

Or do he now just just get to work for 2 hours and enjoy the remaining 6 hours doing meaningful things apart from staring at a screen.

hshshshshsh··on Users only care about 20% of your application
Yeah. But they can you have enough money to fix that. Problem is most users don't even make it to that point and over engineer.
hshshshshsh··on Why do we remember some life moments but not others?
I think it's a bit opposite. If you are really paying attention you probably don't need to remember the event since you already processed it properly at that time.

You tend to generally remember stuff that you didn't process properly or generated a ton of emotions that are more than the baseline.

hshshshshsh··on Nine things I learned in ninety years
I think it's not prepared. More like a willingness to be open to possibilities. Preparation assume you know something good is coming and can prepare now to face it. Those kind of events are probably not that life changing. Of course there are exceptions.

But best things in life come from opportunities that you cannot prepare for in advance. Just willingness to accept it.

hshshshshsh··on OpenAI and Nvidia announce partnership to deploy 10GW of Nvidia systems
But company owns stock right? So they can sell those stocks no?
hshshshshsh··on Trump to impose $100k fee for H-1B worker visas, White House says
Great news as Indian living outside US. More FAANG hiring in EU and India. More pay. Thanks Trump. Even plus don't have to relocate to US and can avoid this lunies.
hshshshshsh··on A shift in developer culture is impacting innovation and creativity
Tons of high paying jobs in FAANG and similar in London. What are you even talking about?
hshshshshsh··on Japan sets record of nearly 100k people aged over 100
Dude. All humans poop.
hshshshshsh··on Nepal moves to block Facebook, X, YouTube and others
Have you worked in a fortune 500?
hshshshshsh··on Everything is correlated (2014–23)
Doesn't everything means all things that exist in universe and since they exist in same universe they are correlated?
hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
If you say so. So be it.

You are focused on trying to understand truth through axioms which you have already assumed to be be true.

Can't you see the contradiction?

hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
Haha. That's okay. I am not trying to make sense to you. As I mentioned above.

But you can always copy paste my replies to your modern LLMS and ask what I am talking about. Maybe they can settle for sure I am full of shit..

hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
See. I am not here to teach anyone

I have told what I think is true from my understanding.

If you don't understand it or thinks it's bs it's fine. Just leave it.

My goal is not to awaken any of you.

I just posted it because it felt true to me.

And if someone else resonated that's good enough.

I understand when you say it sounds BS and empty.

I would have said the same a few years back.

And I don't think anything I have written could have changed that opinion.

You see the words just appear as patterns to you.

The meaning is generated internally.

hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
Sure. There is three possibilities.

I am writing to impress you anonymous stranger. Maybe for karna farming. Or to inflate my ego.

Or maybe there is a pointing that you can't grasp yet that inan trying to convey.

Or I am full of shit.

hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
The master appears when student is ready.

But if you are serious look into advaita or madhyamaka.

hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
Haha. If you say so.
hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
And here you are. Dead for infinity. And aware.
hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
There is nothing called plum. All there is experience. Changing experience. Appearing in awareness. The awareness is constant. Among time. Only constant.
hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
Death is certain if you think you are body mind..
hshshshshsh··on Death and What Comes Next (2002)
There is no death. It's just an idea in awareness.

You were dead for infinity.

How can you be dead for infinity and alive now. Makes no sense.

Only explanation is it's infinite.

0 - 1 second alive is not 1 second.

It's infinite.

hshshshshsh··on Can a Country Be Too Rich? Norway Is Finding Out
I don't buy it. The cats and dogs seems to be pretty happy and they rarely work apart from the biological stuff that we do like growing body and repair cells and eating and all.
hshshshshsh··on Can a Country Be Too Rich? Norway Is Finding Out
My bad. I overreacted.
hshshshshsh··on Can a Country Be Too Rich? Norway Is Finding Out
Literally everything in society is making you suffer to make money. And you think societies goal is to abolish work.
hshshshshsh··on Can a Country Be Too Rich? Norway Is Finding Out
Wait, does this kind of mean , the work I do support random Norwegian who is Slacking off all day even though I don't even live in same country?

Someone has to still make the food they eat and clothes they wear.

I assume the poor people in Asian countries do it for them and still remain poor their entire lives even though they work probably 100x more.

What a shit show economic system we have made.

hshshshshsh··on What went wrong for Yahoo
Everyone is a genius writing what went wrong but never have the guts to short it as it unfolds.
hshshshshsh··on Quantitative AI progress needs accurate and transparent evaluation
But isn't that the same kind of evidence that the deniers also seen? They also saw some images and videos and decided to conclude the other way around.

The fact that I know I exist is the only thing I know for sure. Whether I am simulation or a soul or whatever word you want to call it is irrelevant.
