learning projects: github.com/gutsy
I don't want to actually go to Applebees to try it out, though.
Being an entrepreneur isn't for everyone. There's no shame in admitting that it isn't for you. There's plenty of great work out there that doesn't require you putting it all on your shoulders.
Now I kinda want to try this.
Other than that...no kinks. It's been a pretty smooth transition...just trying to get used to having menus on both monitors (which is AWESOME)
I kinda miss those days. Sometimes.
So, sooooo old.
I have a feeling that's most people who downloaded that game. I can't imagine it brought back in a ton of revenue.
But, I could be completely wrong! Maybe most people aren't heartless bastards who just want a free burrito!
I'm actually almost considering getting one, a cheap monitor/keyboard/mouse and setting it up for the kids to use as their own computer...seems like it could be a cheap investment to get them to learn how to use Linux.
throw up //ha ha
I found that in a project I was working on for work last fall. I'm sure it not's the same code, but it cracked me up the first time I saw it.
I really hope to be able to write Go professionally at some point, it is a really nice language to write in.
Not surprisingly, my company has hired several people from them and absolutely no one has a good thing to say about working there.
I know Linux is just as functional as Windows is. Most people on this site know that, but we aren't the ones buying most PCs. Imagine your mom, dad, brother or sister who don't use computers like crazy trying to learn how to use Linux. If it's too different, "it doesn't work at all." Too many people are afraid to learn new things, which is sad.
The phone and Surface might end up failing (which is a shame, both of those products are WORLDS better than they ever should have been), but the classic Windows PC will stick around for quite awhile, and Xbox isn't going anywhere either.
