I am always suspicious of "up to" claims.
One site I found while watching a YouTube video was: https://www.electronickits.com/ but I haven't ordered anything yet and really don't know much about them besides they were listed in a video...
Now maybe things have changed. But I bought my Brother MFC-8890DW back in April of 2011. It is still going strong. In that time period I have replaced the toner once. But I have only printed 3,768 pages in that time. So 314 pages per year.
It is the best type of printer for my use case which is infrequent printing. Ink type printers aren't the best options if you might have 90+ days between printing jobs. I also really like having the scanning and photo copying features that mine has. And the Ethernet connection makes it so anyone in the house can easily print.
It would be like saying I'm not giving Netflix anymore of my business since they won't let me use my dad's password.
I guess this could impact brown rice supplies if people who can't get white rice switch to brown rice.
Not too hard to hoard rice. It doesn't require refrigeration and can be stored for a long time. Like toilet paper!

Edit: I found this also https://www.lanreg.org/ a website for registering LAN parties :)
There is a YouTube video on some of the technical aspects from Fall 2022: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgtwA-N3eH0
Not sure if they did one in Spring 2023??
From the website:
What is PDXLAN?
PDXLAN is a PC gaming event near Portland, Oregon. Over a thousand PC gamers from around North America unite together and bring their computers to play video games with one another for four days while raising money for charity. Our goals are best described in our tag line: “Have fun, Frag hard, Give back.”
PDXLAN events are four days long, host multiple in game contests, analog contests, BYOC tournaments, Sponsor presentations, and raffles.
frbi = "!f() { git rebase -i $(git log --pretty=oneline --color=always | fzf --ansi | cut -d ' ' -f1)^ ; }; f"
I do: `git frbi` (which in my mind means Fzf ReBase Interactive)Then I can easily scroll up to the commit I want to start the rebase on.
I'm willing to hand-wave over a lot of this stuff as otherwise it gets way too overcome with pedantry which likely doesn't matter...
The US death rate is 1.04% per year. So in that sporting event example, statistically 313 of them will die within a year's time.
Also if the sporting event was today then only around 2.5 people would die in a car accident "this year" as currently we are already in July ;)
Anyway that is my bunch of nonsense statistics :)
So far it has been won 403 times[1] what seems around 20 year time span. With a US population of around 360 million. So not sure why 25 winners would require a population of 1 billion.

You don't have to. GitLab supports dependencies. Using the `needs:` keyword.
It was released in August of 2019.
