* APIs that were fine in iOS 7 are now broken on iOS 8 devices (that's the OS I'm talking about, not the SDK). 6 -> 7 contained the biggest UI changes of any release, and on an iOS 7 OS, apps built under iOS 6 still looked like iOS 6 apps. How it should be.
* Developers saying they have to get/renew both iOS and Mac developer programs, and then request a refund for the one they don't want.
* Requiring 5GB for an over-the-air installation, which given how most devices are 16GB, is terrible. There aren't many end-users that would go through iTunes for this.
* Shocking performance on 4S and iPad 2. I disagree with allowing users to upgrade on these devices. My iPad 2 was unusable; even swiping on the springboard was dropping frames everywhere. Apps taking 10 seconds to load. That's not a good user experience, keep them on 7.
* Apple silently changing their approval processes (not allowed to authenticate through Safari now - it has to be through a web view, which doesn't handle SSO, and is a lot less secure).
* HealthKit bugs.
* The whole 8.0.1 disaster. I couldn't believe this one.
I pretty much use it as my reading list. I always forget to check Instapaper or whatever else I would otherwise use, so this at least keeps the names visible to me at all times.
> EDIT: Should've read the first subtitle... "Our Web API lets your applications fetch data from the Spotify music catalog and manage user’s playlists."
Normally planks are the best solution to this, including side-planks. They may be a bit too much for you though, it depends how bad the pain is, and how poor your glute activation is. Do you have any Anterior Pelvic Tilt (APT)?
Extremely light yoga might be a good thing to start with, as others have said. Childs pose would be good to do. Also Cat-Cow (Cat-Camel is another name).
As you sit at a desk all day (I assume) you'll be tight along the front (hip flexors, quads mainly), and your posterior will be weak/inactive (glutes, hamstrings). You need to work on fixing those.
Honestly though, you're going to want to see an experienced physiotherapist who can examine you and give you exercises which are good for your current situation. Any advice from anyone on the internet - no matter how experienced - should be taken with a pinch of salt, purely because we can only speculate.
Try using your lunch breaks to go on a walk rather than sit and chat with your colleagues?
Each one did require some post-install setting up. For example, dual monitors, sound card issues, graphics etc. But the set up never took longer than a few hours, and I get a machine that is 1/4 the price of a retail Mac.
I also think I can count the number of the times they've crashed on one hand.
There was also something where I made a note, went back to the list, and tried to edit it again and couldn't. The little pencil icon was hidden. Seemed like clicking the table cell edit icon, as well as the main portion of the cell, takes you just to the "view/share note screen". Feels like a bug to me. I would've preferred the table cell edit icon to go to the edit view and then immediately edit the note.
Is being able to change the screen brightness really necessary when looking at a note...?
I'm not that familiar with markdown - what is reading time? Is it literally just how long you think it would take to read?
When creating a note, I wanted to cancel, but instead I had to click the tick to save the note. I then went to "pull down" - not knowing what the gesture would do - and it created another new note, but not allowing the same title. To me, pull down refreshes. Maybe I'm stuck in my ways and it's now a gesture for many different things. Still, it'd be nice to be able to cancel out of the new note screen, or to even delete the note if no content has been added?
