I think reducing what LLMs do to « typing » is misleading. If it was just typing, you could simply use speech-to-text. But LLMs do far more than that, they shape the code itself. And I think we lose something when we delegate that work to LLMs

As an immigrant in Canada, I have observed a relentless increase in anti-immigration discourse. While there are valid critiques of current immigration policies, the conversation too often carries a racist undertone.
It could be a thing. Not for individual tinkerers but for companies. The fact that today, with already 14 million users, is still possible for an individual to host it is amazing.
The thing is, high executives have become a self-perpetuating class entrenched in corporate boards, this is the reason CEOs comoensation keeps skyrocketing, not supply and demand. And this entrenchment obviously also stifles accountability.
I think it is a totally different threat. Excluding adversarial behavior, humans usually produce information with a quality level that is homogeneous (from homogeneously sloppy to homogeneously rigurous).
AI otoh can produce texts that are quite accurate globally with some totally random hallucinations here and there. It makes it quite harder to identify
