Cool. I as I was furious checking the polls, I noticed that a lot of referenda were being voted on.

Besides a lot of approved tax exceMptions and administrative stuff, some referenda include

* Asking DC to look into becoming it's own state as New Columbia

* Making Alabama a right to work state and Virginia did not

* Legal weed in California, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada and North Dakota

* Raised minimum wage In Arizona, Colorado and Washington

* Washington wants to limit free speech to individuals and not corporations

* Background checks for purchasing weapons in California and nevada

* No universal health care in Colorado (80% no)

* Florida voted against allowing home owners to use solar to make their own electricity

* Indiana and Kansas voted for the right to fish hunt etc.

* Minnesota removed the power for officials to set their own salary

* Missouri wants voter ID laws

* Nebraska abolishes the death penalty

* Oklahoma makes the death penalty constitutional and let's them use unconstitutional means of execution

* New Jersey disallowed gambling in two more counties

* New Mexico allows the state to deny bail for felons

* Oregon let's universities invest in equities

* South Dakota keeps minimum wage as it is

Seems like weed is legal (to some degree) in lots of states. Also, it seems like change on the national level will only happen if they ripple through.

Interesting. My college used a lot of Python for nearly all the classes except for language seminars and some parts of other classes.

I asked my professors why and they argued that Python "doesn't get in the way" (static typing, compilation etc.) allowing us to focus more on learning the algorithms and theory.

While we used some C for manipulating kernel stuff, we implemented a lot of the algorithms in Python since it let us do multi threading, multi processing, signals and a couple of others and my college uses a lot of Python...A bit too much Python now that I think about it.

Exactly. I work at my college's library and we lend out the top line 15" MBP complete with GPU and 16GB RAM which are almost always checked out.

Most of the patrons only use Word and Safari on them anyway.

From my Republican friends, it'd that they believe that it's there churches/Christian's responsibility to take care of the poor, not the government.

But you still get other things. Video and music streaming is unmetered and you get free roaming in many countries with text and data.

To be honest, I don't know what the future is for Zimbabwe. Nothing really seems to work properly and we don't have money to do anything.

They are going to introduce bond notes pretty soon to ease the liquidity crisis, but none of the citizens want to use them. The government say that there's only going to be $200 million dollars worth and they're pegged to the US dollar, but they might pull a fast one to pay off the national debt.

I guess it's time to move to another country. Any suggestions?

Wow dude, those are some great scenes. I just finished a computer graphics class where we learned about the algorithms involved in computer graphics using python, which was super hard.

I just wish I knew how to make pretty things with it...

You have a lot of spare time pliny. Desmos renders it well, although zoomed out, it looks like bacteria under a microscope.

Wow. All I can say is thanks. This really helped me in my calculus classes, especially the more advanced topics, like parametric equations. It even works well across most devices too.
