Their bread and butter is to remove parameters from models [1] and I think this is GLM 5.2 with parameters removed. Its advertised in their changelog [2] as "capabilities are identical to GLM 5.2," it has the same two effort settings "high" and "max," and both are text only [3]. I might be wrong about this, but I would love to hear more about what they did before changing my mind.
Not the greatest fan of the marketing personally. Irrespective of what this model is.

Changes to some of that might be easy to catch, but if the PKGBUILD depends on external resources, it can be quite hard to audit. I am not saying this is good practice, but you can see these sort of things happen all the time on the AUR.
I would assume essentially everyone? `curl https://random-website.com/script.sh | sh` is one of the most common way of installing software outside of perhaps Flatpak. AppImage is essentially the same as piping a script from the internet into bash.

This assumes a naive attack that is easily visible from the PKGBUILD. Unless the attacker makes no effort to hide their activity, the PKGBUILD will look perfectly ordinary while still installing malware.

None of the 4 plans say anything to the contrary either.
The Github org you linked to mainly seems to have repos for the OpenAI API, which doesn't quite rise to the same level of React and PyTorch.

I found GetVersion[1] but that returns the version as two numbers.

I am super happy about the ticket and think its a good thing. But lets not pretend its financing would be possible without heavy government spending.

> Focusing on use cases would enable you to distill the essence of the proposal, and potentially propose alternatives that still address them without the bits you find harmful or risky.
But I think its obvious from discourse around the proposal that the goal itself is the problem. People aren't "constructively involved", not because they don't know how, they aren't because they don't want to construct anything. They think your goal is bad. They want you to stop.

From what I can tell this was originally motivated by bugs in the German version of the game. Back then 1.1.2 was to be the last version of Terraria (a running joke at this point, they announced 1.4.4 a little while ago) and so decompiling seemed like the best option to get those bugs fixed. This might be a more interesting blog post on that topic: https://thevamp.cc/2012/07/16/terraria-1-1-2-zu-terraria-1-1...
