Not gender specific but definitely gender predominant.

I'm surprised my comment triggered you so easily. Obviously my personal experience will be sample size of one and I'm not invested enough in an internet discussion to try to support my comment but trying to deny things that are easily observable is just laughable.
dustedrob··on I'm Peter Roberts, immigration attorney who does work for YC and startups. AMA
My employer was in the process of getting a PERM for me when they announced layoffs, which caused the petition to be denied. How soon after a round of layoffs is it "safe" to apply again?

What's the usual cost for a company to change someone's status from a TN visa to an EB3/EB2 greencard? How long does it usually take?
dustedrob··on How my role as CTO has changed as we've grown from 1 to 100 engineers
This. I never understood why he even included it in the article. Did he get his company to pay for the trip as well?
dustedrob··on What I wish I knew when I became CTO
Great article!
dustedrob··on Ask HN: Is it worth being in TechCrunch “Startup Alley”?
My company participated in the Battlefield and had a space in the Alley. You do get extra attention if you also participated in Battlefield but the Startup Alley by itself is not worth it. It's complicated and exhausting to stand there for the length of the event and it's definitely the most inefficient way to get tractiton.

It would be relatively easy to port to Android. Please open source it!
dustedrob··on Android overtakes Windows as the internet’s most used operating system
Agree entirely! However, Google still has a lot of work to do to put some sort of order in the lower end of Android devices like reducing fragmentation, offering a more unified experience for users and making sure that new devices are not shipped with obsolete hardware and software. Android One, for example, is a great initiative that desperately needs to go global.

dustedrob··on Ask HN: What is the biggest untapped opportunity for startups?
Wow, i could definitely see this as a viable business model for LineageOS (previously Cyanogen) I wonder if they ever considered it.
