dunekid··on At least 20 dead as walkie-talkies explode in Lebanon
Do you think we should send independent investigators, and humanitarian institutions to do an assessment? Sure just wait for the Israeli investigation of their own crimes to finish, and in maybe a couple of decades, a few people can be let in for a couple of hours to verify the brutality.
dunekid··on At least 20 dead as walkie-talkies explode in Lebanon
Not really replying to the above comment, but Do we think Putin should have bombed Gaza? Atleast there would have been sanctions against the bombing entity. Their athletes could have been banned, unlike the ITF people who goes to Olympics after committing crimes against humanity in Gaza. The double standards are not just bad, they are literally evil, I must say.

>I also believe that organizations such as Hamas should be held accountable for the way the spend the lives of Palestinians

And the ITF for bombing, torturing, murdering and mass-burying them?

>Some of the political leaders for the Palestinian cause use strong rhetoric while living comfortably far away from where the bombs are falling

Keep the Hasbara points updated please, in Lebanon and and in Iran, Hamas's most prominent are killed. Their families in Gaza too.

>But I can't condemn the average citizen of Israel since I have no idea if they are for or against the war.

You could read the surveys, the number of people still actively working for ITF. Their online bragging of cold blooded murder and destruction of Gaza. And it is the only democracy around that part, so the Government must be controlled by the average voters?

>Israel doesn't occupy Lebanon

Shebaa Farms are currently occupied by Israel. Which is Lebanese, acknowledged by both Syrians and Lebanese.

Not even a Myth. But a lie told and retold several times, the Zionists deemed it to be the truth and the only truth. But the Nakba has always been seen here, through the victims' tears and the colonialists' documents.
dunekid··on Snowden: The arrest of Durov is an assault on the basic human rights
Absolutely true. Anything to deny the Genocide, while the Zionists themselves watch and mock the destruction.

>I have no idea what happened in Rhodesia

No worries. We all learn bit by bit. But I think you could have a look at it. Many of the security beliefs that you shared above related to Israel are not new, but like all the others they are wrong, and dehumanising. Those so called security issues were backbone of violent colonisation and Genocides. Americas, Africa and Asia alike.

The notion that the rest are savages, who can't govern for their interest and we must do it for them, is not new, and is inhuman and wrong. And it is not even new to Zionism, which after all, has unfolded to be a pretty sophisticated colonisation process.

BTW, Israel never fully disengaged from Gaza, you can look up on Gaza Freedom Floatilla raid. Those are not the actions of a disengaged regime, but a colonialist entity doing crimes in the name of security. And although they are now separated by occupation, Gaza and West Bank are not different people. One can't continue to occupy one region, storm their holy sites, while repressing other region to be a an open air prison, and say that we have disengaged.

What is the complication in West Bank? It is under occupation by all means. And also under apartheid. Occupying West Bank completely might also be just fringe ideas, that are not worth paying attention to? Is it the complication of Smotrich price-tagging Palestinians by creating as many illegal occupations as the number of countries recognising the Palestinian people's lives?

Perfect weapon for a Genocide. Always tout that there were Terrorists, but take out upto a 100 people. Perfect. Ofcourse the powers that be will have to allow it, And send those weapons in the first place.

Lasting peace would require some changes in Israeli Regime and military doctrine.

I could not agree with you more. I hope you do say the same when Israel does the collective punishment on the Gazans. When the Israeli Minister says, phrases like human animals. I can understand being harassed just for by being born in a particular part of the world. But you do need to realize that it has been nothing short of appalling crimes committed against Palestinians by the Israeli regime. Not now, not today, but for the best part of the whole century. In that context a flag does evoke more than a sense of connection, it invariably evokes the crimes that are committed under it. Especially every citizen has served in the militterry apparatus in some for.

Citation(not interpretation)please? I don't think nobody could surpass Israel in the civilian casualty count. And in the hitting schools count, or in the hitting hospitals front. Not to mention the massive hostage taking from Gaza. And their abuse of those hostages at their military bases.

And to top it all calling a United Nations agency a terrorist organisation. None could afford to do that.

Please do not throw the accusations of malintent when the truth presents otherwise, by not just a 10 minute walk.

Here is an excerpt from the Judicial examination of the nature of Israeli state by it's own judges.

>At their center stands the right of every Jew to immigrate to the State of Israel, where the Jews will constitute a majority; Hebrew is the official and principal language of the State.

The state forces the nature of State, and it's principal language, on what was predominantly an Arab place, with settlers Speaking Yiddish, German, Polish and Russian. Moreover it gives a right to unchecked immigration to one ethnicity.

And it moves it's own population to occupied areas in West Bank, with freedom to carry and use assault weapons, and to Golan heights, etc in violation of humanitarian and legal aspects.

>Maybe you could make the argument there should be better export restrictions on private companies to treat so called "cyber-weapons" like real weapons.

As far as what is known with NSO group, Israel does categorize and control the cyber weapons as weapons, and have restrictions in place. But those restrictions are not based on any ethical code, rather only if the said client is not against or subservient to the interests of the State of Israel. Just like it does with IMI exports.

dunekid··on Ethiopians are struggling to keep up with the new "EV or nothing" policy
I could not see anywhere if the ban is in place. Just that the infra is apparently not ready. But considering their cheap electrical energy, and if they have a good distribution network alreadyin place, this can be done rather very well. But an outright ban doesn't make any sense. Banning non hybrid ICE might be a good idea, considering the reason cited is lack of foreign reserves.

But just getting any cheap EV from china without maintenance commitment, is awful.

What a way to reduce the Palestinian resistance to just one organisation! As if there are no murderous settlers being enabled by the state of Israel.

Anyway, there are a lot of reasons, one is this :

> Aid groups say coordinating their movements with the Israeli military inside Gaza remains a complicated and time-consuming process, sometimes requiring hours to coordinate safe access to the Gaza side of the Kerem Shalom border. And despite these efforts, Israeli airstrikes have hit aid workers on multiple occasions.

I haven't found anything on the investigation that is supposedly investigating the WCK workers murder. Unless the people who did that receives exemplary punishment, what sort of NGOs could distribute that aid? And ITF forces are still on the ground, and air.

>This ended up with a UN decision to divide the country which the Palestinians rejected violently.

Well, they had to, read below :

<The plan's detractors considered the proposed plan to be pro-Zionist, with 56%[9] of the land allocated to the Jewish state although the Palestinian Arab population numbered twice the Jewish population.>

And why wouldn't all subsequent plans be in favourite of Zionism, since Count Bernadotte tried a more just plan, Israel rejected it, and was assassinated by Zionist Terrorists : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernadotte_plan

Like ITF posting the looting Haza homes, wearing lingeries and destroying children' toys?

Could they post the destruction of Alshifa, the mass grave with elderly people, with their hands tied in front of the hospital? The spokesperson lying in front of the camera, saying the weeks in days are guard duty stamps?

And the Hamas, is that the same one, that the Israeli PM funded for weakening the Palestinian Authority?

Me too, I would like to see the evidence, but alas the occupying power does not allow free press to be on the Gaza strip.

I would just remind you that there is not just a famine, but a brutal genocide too, and Communications itself is under attack. Please give some leniency to the people who are bombed to the ground, killed and maimed, and using web trees to connect to the World, for not showing enough evidence of famine. Although I wonder how much of an evidence would be needed to make us all believe there is a famine. But , surely more than the evidence to believe that this is an act of defence by the occupying power is needed.

How did the west stop the invasion of Kuwait?

And how did Ukraine supposedly decided to join EU and NATO?

Saddam did get tried and executed. But comparing the scale and lasting impact of a war began by lies of Bush and Blair, it seems like a drop in the ocean.

I like that you have mentioned the Genocide in Europe, might as well say just Genocide, because if it happened elsewhere, and is happening in Palestine, the west would give a damn about it. Of course thoughts and prayers would come from there.

Putin is not Benign, and as malicious as he could be in intent, the west outperforms him because they can do so. Atleast he was not awarded a Nobel for Peace, like Obama and Kissinger, for their peace activities in Syria, Libya and east asia.
