Avoid IRL meetings, even if the other person is sitting 5 meters away, why? because productivity measuring software gets no data points if you meet IRL, you are instead measured as AFK. If you VC, the productivity software measures your attendance, how much time you spent talking versus others, is your video on, your adherence to the calls schedule, and depending on the VC software, it can even analyze the transcript and decide if your input / the entire meeting was valuable. Managers can get an aggregate roll up of all this data and great insights into which departments, team members an individual most interacted with... it goes on and on.
At most mega corps you may not be informed yet, but you are already living in a corporate Orwellian dystopia.
In all your corporate comms, on chat or on VC, Make no jokes, speak no niceties reduce small talk, use positive words but not too much, since the machine is bad at understanding, humor, cynicism or sarcasm. Don't ramble, the machine is good at boiling down emotional or spirited ramblings about directions are very bad, they are boiled down to, "not a fit".
I self host on docker been running reliably for a few years without issue.
I also had a chuckle when I saw the license

It is normal in Vietnam to have nation wide internet blackouts leading up to some politically important moment, holidays or maneuver. The authorities always blame some upstream fault and there is silence from government on it (apart from injecting some press about undersea cable failure. One year they put an article about sharks developing a penchant for internet cables which is now the running joke), the expat forums in Vietnam have pretty frequent and humorous complaints about it.
My colleagues in Vietnam frequently get cut off for days and just laugh that the "shark ate cable again"
Vietnam cant be connected by only undersea cables, they have land borders with China, Laos and Cambodia, whilst *mostly third world countries their internet is doing just fine during these Vietnamese internet outages. Not far away is Singapore - an island, with an AWS, Azure and GCP regions and they do not have shark eating cable internet outages.
TLDR this article is total BS
Also I have to mention this http://www.cookingforengineers.com/
Every service has their own snowflake way of handling iterating over large amounts of keys / resources. I can see it as a massive pain for them to upkeep that within boto. Ideally they would have done the opposite and introduced these abstractions to the other SDKs, but that would be a little too customer obsessed.
Being slightly dramatic but if the plan is to use Smithy make all the SDK as dumb as the lowest common denominator across the SDKs, I might as well use curl and interact with the API directly now that curl supports Sigv4 https://curl.se/libcurl/c/CURLOPT_AWS_SIGV4.html
In California at least[1] people are able to peacefully exercise their right to free speech in parts of private shopping centers regularly held open to the public. So the shopping center is not able to throw them out.
I agree with this ruling and would like to see it applied Federally and to the digital platforms that allow the public to submit their own content.
Like I said I am OK to remove content or people who are obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing. but otherwise if you open your property or the platform to the public, you let them bring their freedom of expression also.

"PruneYard Shopping Ctr. v. Robins, 447 U.S. 74, 88 (1980) (upholding a California law protecting the right to pamphleteer in privately owned shopping centers)"
I think of the platform like a shopping center, once you open it up to the public to enter they can say whatever they want to anybody else in there and nobody can determine the subject or viewpoint they are allowed to hold or communicate.
Once a platform opens up to user content I see it as the same thing, just because the reach is bigger and it is digital should not make any difference, when we are all retired our kids will send us to sleep in a capsule plugged into the metaverse and wired up to a nutrient supply drip like the matrix - do you want to be censored in there ?
anyway that's my 2 cents. I am sure people smarter than me will see a lot wrong with this and happy to hear about it.
