I think it’s a good market. There are a number of places that do native development. I have always bet against cross platform mobile solutions. It doesn’t interest me as a developer, and I don’t think it’s a good experience for the user.
Your cynicism is not insightful or interesting.
I use Firefox and have no problems with website compatibility. Be the change you want to see.
It matters to me so I pay attention to news about products and companies with regard to privacy.
Privacy, like free speech, is a universal human right. The fact that you choose to share information doesn’t mean you lose that right. Any more than not speaking does not mean you lose the right to free speech.
Best case scenario for the future is that these demands will be made publicly so we’ll know it’s not secure.
This is how I know I’ve found my people.
You will make less money. You may get tired of learning new stuff all the time. I've gone from Domino, PalmOS, C, C++, Java, web stack, Objective C, Swift, and more. It can be exhausting or exhilarating. But no hiring manager cares that I worked on PalmOS back in the day.
Google won't save us any more than Musk will. It's billionaires launching cars into space and fighting for personal wealth at the detriment of the rest of the society.
The key thing to remember: once you've lost it all, you have already started over; you just might not know it yet.
Go to a museum and take a guided tour where they talk about the artists. You should start to feel intellectual curiosity at the very least.
