Both these statements appear to be false.
Gotta love quantum computing false fronts :)
> 2 Yes, I acknowledge that IBM’s current machines have queue times, your results might have been pre-calculated on a quantum machine and cached, and thus, still not perfectly random/unhackable. I’m making a point and a fun toy, not defending my dissertation here.
1) It offers both superior control and convenience.
2) It is simple to comprehend and cheaper to operate.
3) Systems are connected to each other with drawn lines.
4) The architecture "Decouples" systems to make them simpler, not more complex.
5) Data structures map cleanly to each other, with no loss.
6) Data structures are 1-dimensional collections of "fields".
7) The architecture is not used in production. No organizations depend on it economically.
.
On the other hand, a practical architecture can be distinguished by the following characteristics:
1) It is used in production. People rely on it daily.
2) It is expensive, and needs constant human attention to balance control and convenience.
3) It has no optimal state - only varying states of failure.
4) Its systems have myriad ways to connect. Some are incompatible with others.
5) Data structures are messy and arbitrary. Some are provably incorrect.
6) Unicode in particular is a problem.
7) It is not comprehensible by any single person.
.
With apologies to Admiral Rickover :)
Served its initial purpose, but the domain will expire in 60 days. Not sure if worth the renewal.

"As flight testing increased to the higher Mach numbers, new problems arose. One, which today may be considered simple with our modern computer techniques, concerned the remote gearbox. The gearbox mounts started to exhibit heavy wear and cracks, and the long drive shaft between the engine and the gearbox started to show twisting and heavy spline wear. After much slide-ruling, we finally decided that the location of the gearbox relative to the engine was unknown during high Mach number transients. We resorted to the simple test of putting styluses on the engine and mounting a scratch plate on the gearbox. We found, to our astonishment, that the gearbox moved about 4 inches relative to the engine. This was much more than the shaft between the engine and the gearbox could take. The problem was solved by providing a new shaft containing a double universal joint."
Let's see a link to an example!
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to apply for the role of Terrible Cover Letter Generator at Tally.work. The job description caught my eye as I am passionate about artificial intelligence and its potential for transforming how we approach mundane tasks such as generating cover letters.
In my most recent experience I have been researching ways in which AI can be used to automate simple tasks such as data entry, formatting text and natural language processing. This has given me a broad understanding of the capabilities of AI and how it can be applied to other areas such as cover letter generation. In addition to this knowledge, I have strong coding skills in languages such as Java and Python which will be beneficial in the implementation of an AI-driven cover letter generator.
I understand that the role requires someone who is able to effectively validate models, fail at input field validation, and generate awful cover letters using AI.
If you feel that my skill set is suitable for the role then please don’t hesitate to contact me and arrange an interview where we can discuss further how my talents can help your team succeed with this project; or if you have any questions please contact me via email or telephone at your earliest convenience. Thank you very much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read my application!
> During the pandemic, he partnered with local restaurants to sell “Beast Burgers”, a proprietary burger recipe that any kitchen could make and sell with his branding, and in interviews he speaks proudly of restaurants that would have gone out of business without the interest Beast Burgers provided.
No. He inked a deal with a kitchen arbitrage venture.

The $24 burger was...not good.
"Malefactor” is a strategy text game in which the player takes on the role of a Sauron-style Lord of Darkness with the goal of conquering the world."
A company that leases space might have an expensive multi-year lease. If the office sits unoccupied, that looks like an inefficiency.
These are both examples of reactive thinking.
For a project that wants growth, even requiring signup is a big drag.

My favorite laugh line from the paper: "Maximum likelihood estimation was then employed to prevent the resulting density matrix from having nonphysical properties."
In other words, "We made up some numbers that looked impressive"
Two full days, start to end. It's slightly different from a SaaS like you describe. No user login and no database. The time all went toward the UI and front-end functionality.
The app you describe with signup & CRUD would take 4-5 hours. With Laravel/MySQL as a stack. Laravel has excellent third-party modules for the user management pieces.
Good constructs, low complexity space, no compilation required.
Tailwind is also excellent.

This policy only affects rents. New-building developers will shift toward an ownership model. All those $2800/month luxury apartments under construction? Yeah, those are now now $750,000 condos. For the folks purchasing those units, not much changes.
For everyone who lives in a $1100/month brick 4-plex, things definitely change. Rent hikes stabilize. For the landlord, long-term profits are severely reduced. A small landlord might decide to cash out and retire.
For everyone who lives on a block of residential housing, half of which was purchased by a slumlord during the housing crisis and allowed to decay...hopefully that slumlord will decide to give up the game, and sell those houses back to individual owners. Hope hope hope.
For economists, this is a beautiful gift. They can do proper science, studying the effects of neighboring policies in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
