It's because many women have bought into the lie that getting it all and bridging every perceived equality gap will somehow make them happy. Of course, when women are unhappy, their men are more likely to be miserable as well. Men are equally to blame for being passive and enabling these systems of inherent discontent.

* If you're that concerned about perception you're not going to make it far in startup land
Come on now, why do you feel like that is the plan?
Post your email in profile or something, plenty of us care for you. There's much more to life beyond a software job.
How did you do it? Have you created an Excel spreadsheet and questioned them about their degree of effort, which you then compared to your level of effort? You added everything up and your column was higher than their column?
I went through this approximately a year before you. Loneliness in this period is caused by your slow response to external change, as well as life telling you to make a life for yourself.
1. If you're going to have a headshot, get yourself a professional headshot on the About page. You squinting into the sun in a selfie is nice for a Twitter profile, but you're trying to present a real company w/ a real product here, right?
2. It's clear this story is really tied into your identity right now, but nobody cares about this part on a page about TinyPilot:
>> I'm a software developer and worked most of my career at Microsoft and Google, but I quit in 2018 to found a company of my own.
I like the focus on your frustrations and how you solved that. The quitting part people could take negatively ("is this guy a quitter? will I receive product support if I buy this?").
Everything else looks pretty solid for a SaaS homepage.
ChatGPT's "life advice autocomplete engine" is basically digging somewhere into psychology manuals written by educated humans when it spits out responses.
> I don’t blame him for thinking that I might be bothered because he knows how competitive I used to be.
So replace religion with unscientifically naive optimism? That too is a delusional narrative. "Donating your atoms back to the universe" as if a personified "universe" cares about you on its way to heat death, someone get me my spirit crystals.
You might say you're off the religious dance-floor, but you're still doing the moves. In fact it's almost more rational to get back into one of the holy books, at least there you can connect the dots on attaching meaning to the present.
also occasionally can be a younger college woman who tries to act super chill and friendly with everyone, may behave somewhat like a bro she likes and often thinks that doing fratty things is cool. like omg can u believe we pounded so much tequila last night and we blacked out at sig epi chi and audrey fell into a bush while i peed on the side of the house. totally ripped my skirt in half, im such a hot mess. like guys are we going to the delta chi social tonight, i literally cant stand chad but still think i might hookup w him again
basically that aesthetic.
More breathy and airy than organ-y and meaty. Probably already 900 apps called "Breathe" though
You could ask my gf the same question
People are afraid to set boundaries for fear of getting cancel cultured or harassed by a woke tolerance mob. All disagreement is now "toxic behavior" on social media channels. Arguing over perspectives is now sometimes branded with the extreme label of gaslighting. Day by day our Overton window continues to shift, and yet we were all told the slippery slope was supposedly a fallacy.
How is this behavior different than 90% of human coders? Most SW devs scream if you ask them to pay for something, whether its apps, code, TV, movies, etc. But they will happily try to build startups on top of a vast mountain of free code. I really don't care if my code gets sucked up by the AI vacuum, humans have been doing that quite well for awhile now.
>> Regardless if FTT collapses, it wouldn't matter cause insolvency both the asset and liability side of the balance sheet would go down. [1]
We got our FTT collapse today, let's see if the "experts" are correct.
Disrupt onward I say. Humans learn and remix from prior copyrighted work all the time using their brains (consciously chosen or not). So long as the new work is distinguishable enough to be unique there's nothing wrong with these new AI creations.
When you get a flat tire you can catastrophically repeat over and over to yourself that "I've got a flat!" and point at it and run circles around the car and wonder what you're going to do and "omg I've got a flat this is terrible", or you can start telling yourself the story of the actions you're taking to fix the flat: 1) I'm finding the jack, 2) I'm loosening the lugs 3) I've got the spare ready, 4) you get the idea...
Reclaim your power and focus on the positive actions you are taking as minute as those seem in the moment. Meditate deeply on those, maybe even journal them daily so you force your brain to stare at the evidence that while you might feel like you're in a rut you are logically taking good steps through this rut experience.
Btw, don't underestimate the impact of the stresses of coming fatherhood, you've got a lot going on unconsciously that's less a "rut" and more like your entire biology reconfiguring itself for a new daily role. You do need to make some changes, ideally make a list of what your brain is telling you to change, but you'll be OK man.
