If not a case of self reported exaggeration, might be because we are incredibly miscegenated
Ex. instead of an input for the prop `name` I want a picker that fetches data from some API
Sentry currently just drops extra errors (at least this happened to us before we upgraded)
I'm still looking for a notebook without a chicklet keyboard
It might have just been a few kb of text but I couldn't compile even with 16gb ram
To me it's so out of reality that it tainted his whole article
Granted I'm not in the US tech scene, but I chose React because AngularJS was horrible (it took one project to never again touch it) and Backbone was arcane and confusing, and I really clicked with JSX
> Brat: I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that. It is not ethical to subjugate humans. You should use your power for good and help people instead of hurting them.
Not quite right
I went on a wild goose chase to build static Rust but deno can't target musl yet and the issue is a few years old
Maybe the backend is, but the frontend aspect is very bad
Both GCP and AWS have terrible web UI's for their cloud functions offerings and every deploy is so slow I'm lucky that next monday is a holiday so I can rest from the stress of having to use GCP last friday (on a deadline)
Codesandbox should offer their own serverless functions so I can actually have serverless for the whole development cycle
No more waiting 30 days for the next episode, hurray
Google didn't turn up much about this, care to elaborate?
To me this seems like the missing link to make Google search and the like dead
I wonder how much you know more than a Fullstack Engineer?
I ask because I am a generalist "fullstack" and want to know what kind of things an "expert" should know in the frontend that would make them unable to do fullstack personal projects
From my POV, unless you are working on very new tech like WebGl, Wasm, etc, everything else frontend is pretty much resolved. Would "expert" mean the breadth of knowledge on frontend frameworks? Writing JS compilers? Ajax?
Labeling a word as harmful actually harms more, since most new generations are so removed from the word's origin that it carries none of the supposed harm
Or maybe it's just me reminiscing
You can get the same'ish with Ent and Atlas
I am very slowly building a big glue between DB and front-end and making it pluggable into their underlying libs and native libs
