Which is what we'll be doing!
Community feedback was a huge part of that feedback cycle once the beta was live.
I was deeply unhappy with the 3x-5x widening iOS and Android JavaScript perf gaps through 2014 and 2015 (TL;DR Qualcomm has completely lost the plot) but in 2016, it's.. even worse.
The good news is, Ember 2.10 looks like a major speed improvement! The bad news is, Android is still 10x slower with Ember.

It would be a bit more even if Apple wasn't delivering substantial speed improvements, year after year, consistently.
The little heat sinks the cases bundle are better than nothing, for sure, but get uncomfortable to touch under extended load. A bit more here

Geekbench 2.4.2 results, Pi3 on left, Pi2 on right:
Overall 2086 / 1302 Integer 1641 / 998 Floating point 3353 / 2126 Memory 1204 / 729 Stream 978 / 631
Sunspider results, same arrangement:
2888 ms / 4705 ms
Not 2x faster, but pretty close! It's also quad core, though the above benchmarks, particularly sunspider, are absolutely single thread / core perf.
It says here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hqx used in nestopia which is included in RetroPie, so I am thinking yes.
That said it is an interesting aside and there are a few more details here http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=305...
HN is an excellent venue, but is necessarily text oriented, which is an OK tradeoff I think.
My next project after Stack Overflow, Discourse, is an 100% open source, flexible multimedia-friendly discussion system. It's GPL V2 on the code side, but we also tried to codify Creative Commons as the default license in every install, so discussion replies belong to the greater community: https://discourse.org
(Surprisingly, the default content licenses for most discussion software tend to be rather restrictive.)
I like to think of Discourse as the "long term memories" in Pixar's Inside Out. You ship stuff there as you need to. A mixture of mostly short term and sometimes long term memories is a sane and manageable arrangement for most humans.
Unfortunately endemic to all MOBAs :(
Not to mention that every time we add a new feature or change something in the web app, that change now needs to be duplicated in two native code bases as well.
If anything the opposite is true: you can only afford to build native apps as a larger company.
