clubdorothe··on Kubernetes is a red flag signalling premature optimisation
Tim Hockin (one of kubernetes creator) supports the idea to use something as much managed and automatic as possible if you don't have time for it [1]. He probably refers to use Cloud Run [2], over a (managed?) Kubernetes cluster (such as EKS or GKE)

clubdorothe··on Kubernetes is a red flag signalling premature optimisation
Check into Amazon ECS or Google Cloud Run.

It's basically a higher level of managed Kubernetes ( EKS or GKE ). You give your containers, and they take care of running it.

clubdorothe··on New Intel CEO rehiring retired CPU architects
They've probably lost[1] few months ago their most talented chips engineer, Jim Keller[2]. Ironically, Jim suggested to outsource the manufacturing of their chips, what the new CEO just did [3].

clubdorothe··on Stripe co-founder on how his billion-dollar company continues to evolve
Anyone would know stripe's plan for cryptocurrencies?

They've invested in stellar[1] in 2014, a blockchain network that facilitate to move money more easily. And then stopped bitcoin support in 2018[2]. Then no news. I'm wondering if the efforts were only pushed by @gdb[3], then when he left (now openAI's CTO), they've somehow lost interest ? I'm really curious about what they think internally.

I'm about to start investing with lump sum next week since stocks looks cheaper. I was thinking to go with 80% SWDA (global stocks [1]) and 20% AGGU (global bonds[2]). I'm a non US resident.

- Should I consider to take less bonds?

- Is lump sum a good idea, or should I DCA?
