I also don't live in NY so I don't know those brands; the fancy packaging makes it appear similar to much of the recreational stuff I've seen in other states.

i installed the new version (while retaining the old version 60.8) on my mac, but none of the accounts / settings / etc. have been transferred over. Trying to figure out how to export and import into new version but have not found out how so far

Just remember to avoid fastmail (due to the terrible Australian tech laws - essentially anyone can be coerced into installing backdoors / surveillance tech into any system and they're required to maintain secrecy). So add the avoidance of any Australian service to your matrix of considerations.

Would it be possibly to camoflauge a gab instance as if it were a mastodon instance for the purposes of federation? It probably wouldn't stand up to the scrutiny of a follow up human review, it would bypass the federation block.
