I've owned the QC20i (two of them actually). The battery was never the issue. The durability was! I take a great care of all my electronics. And no matter how careful I was, the QC20i never lasted more than 2 years without some sort of connection issues.
FWIW, I googled IQ Test and blindly clicked on the first link that appeared. Ran through 30 questions and when I clicked on submit - it prompted for a payment lol. Should've seen this coming!
I am fortunate to have my own office. That's right. 4 walls and a door. However I still find myself frustrated because the project managers refuse to use headsets and use the speakerphones all day.
Hopefully this is the beginning of large screen laptop resurgence.
Has anyone really extensively used an LG Gram as a daily? Does it hold up well over time? The last thing I want is to have something break and wait 2 months for a warranty repair...
Yes, let me do that right now actually. I placed my phone charger underneath my desk, so it is out of my view. It will ring when I get a call. Didn't need a visual cue. One less clutter on my desk!
Funny you should mention meditation. It is something I am trying to incorporate into my life since early this year. Nothing fancy, I just use some guided meditation I find (usually 10 min long) and close my office door and listen to it. Unfortunately, I have yet to experience the full benefit of meditation since I only manage 2 sessions a week. However, when I it properly (ie, I don't get interrupted), I breathe better, my body is relaxed, and the head is clear.
Thanks for bringing up the term ultra-productive. That's exactly why I began multitasking only to realize it is just far better to work on one thing at a time for the performance and for my happiness. It took me a long time to realize this, but I am glad I figured it out.
I try to avoid leaving a game or Youtube video open when I am "working". When I try to multitask, I get more frustrated. In the long run, the frustration turns into depression. So I try to tackle one task at a time nowadays. The difficult part is ignoring the phone. It is always within my view, if not within my arms reach. Just the sheer sight of my phone seems to take attention away from me. I don't know what to do with it though... I can't take it offline because my family needs to reach me. Perhaps a smartwatch would help?
Took a brief look at Orgmode and it looks great. It also appears to be more feature packed than Vimwiki. Let me give it a shot. I'm a Vim user, so I hope I don't get too disoriented by Emacs.
Right, I forgot about the iOS version of the OneNote app. I guess I am searching for a more cross-platform solution (much like Google Notebook. Also, it looks like Microsoft is migrating OneNote out of Office suite and make it available as a default app in Windows, but will require a subscription to Office 365 to unlock features [1]. So cost becomes an issue when this occurs..
Thanks! Never seen this but I already like it. I use Vim and the fact that I don't have to leave my terminal is definitely a bonus. Have you found a way to access it via your phone/mobile?
Thanks. This is probably 1 of my top 3 choices at the moment. It is timeless, no need to worry about service shutdown, and robust and free. Of course, it probably has the most learning curve as I have to type out everything.
I thought it was clear that this patch only applies to AMD. However, reading the comments here confuses me. How's does the performance on Intel drops with this?
Neat. I wasn't aware Git client had this much feature. On Windows 10 I have "Bash on Windows", but on older systems (such as Windows 7), Git client would do the trick.
MobaXterm is nice, but I don't like how heavy it is...
