Texting your coworker, would the usual path, not some secondary software that requires both people to set up ahead of time.
I would tell people to fuck off if they wanted to invade my personal device with work chatter. Boundaries are good
They build their own index: https://help.kagi.com/kagi/why-kagi/kagi-vs-competition.html
They're saying they've designed the system, so it's separated from access to your vault. This is their way of trying to reassure users they have considered user privacy.
Obviously, they could be secretly collecting things this entire time. But also, why would they need the telemetry system to view your vault? If they wanted to view that, they could do that "secretly"
Love that it can do groupings, especially when you're searching for something that will also turn up seo garbage, like products for your home. So you can see the cluster of "review sites" and then actual product companies

Also, you can kinda-disable this per browser

But still very happy with how Kagi works
Maybe do this for small side projects and people who don't care if the site goes down.
Nothing more fun than trying to figure out what your 2016 self did to set up that fucking server based on a half-baked tutorial that was the top Google hit. And now it's crashing, and you don't know what the fuck is wrong. And the client is frantically texting you asking when the site will be up again.
The curse of knowledge gets people to forget how fucking steep the learning curve can be when every Linux thing is new. Especially when you're trying to debug a problem and every StackOverflow answer has you chasing wrong paths.
2023 me would have no problem doing this now, but also why the fuck would I want to waste my time mucking about fixing dumb problems. There's no need to prove how awesome I am at doing DevOps. I'm 100% ok paying a premium to let that be someone else's problem. I would rather solve fun problems than doing endless maintenance tasks.
I kept fruit in. Some people allow honey
Doctors are only so helpful (and most are even less so)
Here's a list of things I tried that sorta helped with my tiredness spells. Recommend doing any of these changes separately:
- Sugar fast for 4 weeks (helps reset your cravings)
- Switched from coffee to green tea
- Reduced caffeine intake to one a day or 3x a week
- Acupuncture
- 15 min walks or bike ride every day
- Omega 3 oils
- Higher intake of minerals I was deficient in (eating more green vegetables)
(spoiler alert, I had undiagnosed ADHD which contributed to my high anxiety, which gave me waves of alert/exhausted)
If you're fucking wealthy, it's also very easy to move money for fraud, drugs, murder, literally anything. They just don't use the Cash App
I feel this deeply
The compromise I found was just to dump them into my bookmarking service. If I really really need to find that thing again, it's saved somewhere. 99% of the time it's just digital ephemera and I try to let it go and close the tab.
